Accrual of Compensatory Time. By mutual agreement between the eligible ASF Member and that individual's supervisor, overtime hours worked may be accrued as compensatory time in lieu of cash overtime. Overtime hours worked that are accrued as compensatory time will be credited at the rate of time and one half. In the absence of an agreement to credit overtime hours worked as compensatory time, the overtime hours shall be compensated in cash at a rate of time and one half of the individual's regular rate of pay.
Accrual of Compensatory Time. Employees may, upon approval of the Sheriff, accrue compensatory time off in-lieu of pay for overtime worked. All compensatory time off shall be accrued at the rate of one and one half (1½) hours of compensatory time off for each hour of overtime worked. No employee may accumulate more than eighty (80) hours compensatory time. When eighty (80) hours is reached the employee must use some of the accumulated time before accumulating any additional compensatory time.
Accrual of Compensatory Time. Dispatch and Central Control employees may, upon approval of the Sheriff, accrue compensatory time off (CTO) in-lieu of pay for overtime worked. All compensatory time off shall be accrued at the rate of one and one half (1 ½) hour of CTO for each hour of overtime worked. No employee may accumulate more than forty (40) hours of compensatory time. When forty (40) hours is reached, the employee must use some of the accumulated time before accumulating any additional compensatory time.
Accrual of Compensatory Time a. Only overtime scheduled by the department manager or designated shift supervisor shall be accrued for compensatory time purposes.
Accrual of Compensatory Time. As with all overtime work, except emergency situations, all compensatory time-off in lieu of overtime payment shall have prior approval by the appropriate Department Director. Except for properly approved flex time as described in Appendix E, any hours worked beyond eight hours in a work shift, or during the sixth day of the work week will be compensated at the rate of one and one-half hours for each additional hour worked. Any hours worked beyond 10 hours in a work shift or during the seventh day of the work- week will be compensated at the rate of two hours for each additional hour worked. Compensatory time is accrued and recorded at the appropriate time-and-one-half or double time rate. Employees shall accrue no more than 80 hours of compensatory time at any one time during the calendar year. Compensatory hours earned will be recorded each pay period, as well as the compensatory hours used. An official record of the hours earned during that pay period, the hours used during that same pay period and the resulting maximum number of hours remaining to date will be indicated on that official record. Those employees having compensatory time on the record will be provided with a copy of that information each pay-day.
Accrual of Compensatory Time. 5 The City may elect to provide compensatory time off in lieu of pay for ove1iime. In each 6 instance where the City so elects, one and one-half (1½) hours of compensatory time will 7 be provided for each hour of overtime. 9 Effective September 10, 2022, an employee may accrue up to a maximum of one hundred 10 twenty (120) hours of unused compensatory time for overtime. 12 Employees who have more than one hundred twenty (120) hours of compensatory time on 13 September 10, 2022, shall not be permitted to accrue any further compensatory time until 14 their compensatory time hours have been reduced to one hundred twenty hours. Employees 15 shall have until 11:59 p.m. on June 30, 2023 to accomplish this reduction in compensatory 16 time hours. Any compensatory time hours (in excess of 120) remaining to their credit after 17 11:59 p.m. shall be paid to employees.

Accrual of Compensatory Time a. Compensatory time shall only be accrued when patient care or mandatory meetings/conferences are responsible for the overtime.
Accrual of Compensatory Time. For each hour of overtime worked by a full-time bargaining unit employee in a given work week, one and one-half (1-1/2) hours of comp-time shall accrue if the employee does not claim the hours for overtime pay. If a bargaining unit employee works overtime on Sunday or a holiday, they will be compensated at the appropriate rate as defined in this agreement. Compensatory Time during summer flex hours: Employees may request to receive compensatory time, in lieu of overtime pay, for hours worked in excess of forty (40). Compensatory time is accrued at the rate of one and one-half (1-1/2) for each overtime hour worked. If a bargaining unit employee works overtime on Sunday or a holiday, they will be compensated at the appropriate rate as defined in this agreement. Full-time bargaining unit employees may accrue a maximum of two hundred and forty (240) hours of compensatory time per fiscal year. Any compensatory time earned must be used before any vacation time or leave without pay is used. Compensatory time may be earned and used only with prior approval of the employee’s immediate supervisor or their designee. Normal use of such time off is to be requested in writing at least three
