Overtime hours worked definition

Overtime hours worked means those hours worked in excess of forty (40) hours per work week.

Examples of Overtime hours worked in a sentence

  • Overtime hours worked shall not be paid more than once for the same hours worked under any provision of this Agreement.

  • Overtime hours worked on a holiday as defined in the Overtime Article of this MOU shall be paid at the overtime rate of one and one-half (1 ½) times the employee’s base hourly rate of pay as set forth in the Overtime Article of this MOU.

  • Overtime hours worked on a Sunday shall be paid for at the rate of double ordinary time rates.

  • Overtime hours worked that are accrued as compensatory time will be credited at the rate of time and one half.

  • Overtime hours worked shall not be paid more than once for the same hours worked under any provisions of this Agreement.

  • Hours of Scheduled Overtime Afforded shall be defined as the total of Scheduled Overtime hours worked plus Scheduled Overtime hours refused.

  • Overtime hours worked shall not be included in the calculation of continuous service.

  • Overtime hours worked during an emergency will be included when equalizing overtime.

  • Overtime hours worked by employees whose regular duties include snow removal and who work in conjunction with snow removal shall be compensated at the rate of one and one-half (1 2) times the regular hourly rate of the employee, regardless of whether the employee has taken any paid leave during the same pay week in which the snow removal overtime was worked.

  • Overtime hours worked shall be compensated in accordance with the following provisions.

  • Hours worked means the time during which an employee is subject to the control of an employer, and includes all the time the employee is suffered or permitted to work, whether or not required to do so.

  • Time Worked means time during which an employee is performing labor or services for the benefit of an employer, including all time s/he is suffered or permitted to work, whether or not required to do so.

  • Work Week means a seven (7) consecutive day week that consistently begins and ends on the same days throughout the year, i.e. Sunday through Saturday, Wednesday through Tuesday, Friday through Thursday.

  • Workweek means any week during which a Class Member worked for Defendant for at least one day, during the Class Period.

  • Normal weekly hours of work means the established standard work times and number of hours in the workweek for the position or, if standard work times and number of hours have not been established for the position, the work times and average number of hours per week actually worked by the employee in that position over the most recent 3 months before the employer files the application for designation as a participating employer.
