Work Areas. The Appointing Authority may define and/or redefine work areas provided that such work areas are based upon reasonable staffing and/or operational needs of the Appointing Authority and do not unreasonably diminish the bidding rights of employees. Upon request, the Appointing Authority will provide to the Local Union a list of current work areas.

Work Areas. 9.8.1 For the purposes of this Article, work area shall be determined as follows: All bargaining unit members who report directly to and are immediately supervised by a common person shall be considered to be in the same work area (e.g., all State Patrol Troopers who have the same supervisor shall be considered as in the same work area). For the purposes of the Field Services Division all Sergeants within the same Troop Area shall be understood to be within the same work area. For the purpose of the Carrier Enforcement Division this shall be by duty station in each district (e.g., Interstate Scales, Secondary Permanent Scales, Portables, CVE). Officers assigned to Traffic who work permanent shifts shall bid against officers who work in the same geographical work area.
Work Areas. The Union and the Employer shall develop and implement incentives which are non-economic in nature, to encourage employees to enter and/or remain in less desirable work areas, subject to the approval of the Chief Operating Officer of DAS- HRE and the President of AFSCME Iowa Council 61.
Work Areas. City Facilities No work by contractors shall occur in any area without prior consent of the City of Surrey Manager, Civic Facilities or his designated representative. The worker must immediately report the circumstances of the unsafe condition to his or her supervisor or manager. If the unsafe condition is not remedied or the issue is not resolved the Manager, Occupational Health & Safety must be contacted. A common sense approach usually resolves the issue. GENERAL RULES

Work Areas a. There are twenty-seven (27) work areas - with limits as defined in Paragraph e of this Section 8.27. Any employee who is assigned a work area instead of a specific permanent headquarters will report to any job location within his/her assigned work area. Transportation to and from home and any job location within his/her assigned area is all personal time and expense, except as may herein be specifically noted.
Work Areas. The custodians herein referred to include those persons performing custodian service in or about the premises of the Courthouse and Annex, Social Services Building, Public Safety Building, Kenosha County Center, old Unemployment Compensation Building, 60th Street Garage, Kenosha County Adminis- tration Building, downtown Pretrial Facility and House of Correc- tions. They shall do such custodian work as designated by the Facilities management.
