Common use of Work Areas Clause in Contracts

Work Areas. The Appointing Authority may define and/or redefine work areas provided that such work areas are based upon reasonable staffing and/or operational needs of the Appointing Authority and do not unreasonably diminish the bidding rights of employees. Upon request, the Appointing Authority will provide to the Local Union a list of current work areas.
