Suspension or Dismissal where a dispute involving the suspension or dismissal of an employee occurs, it shall be submitted at Step 1 of this Article within fourteen (14) calendar days of the date the employee received written notice of such suspension or dismissal.

Suspension or Dismissal. Any employee bound by this Agreement who alleges suspension or dismissal for other than proper cause, shall be entitled to have such grievance settled in accordance with the grievance procedure set forth above, commencing at Stage II. If the grievance is not resolved at Stage II, it may be referred by either party to an arbitrator mutually agreed to by the parties, for a final and binding determination. If such employee is found by the arbitrator to have been suspended or dismissed for other than proper cause, the arbitrator shall make an order in accordance with the Labour Relations Code.

Suspension or Dismissal. 1. The principal shall have the right to discuss possible infractions of school policy or regulations with a teacher at any time. Prior to any meeting with a teacher, the principal shall indicate the subject to be discussed. The teacher has the right to have an Association representative of their choice present, and if requested, the meeting shall not begin until the representative or alternate representative is given a reasonable opportunity to be present. Both parties shall make every effort to schedule the meeting in a timely manner.
