Shift Change Premium. When an employee's scheduled starting time is changed, all hours worked in his originally scheduled shift will be paid at regular time; all other hours worked outside of this time period will be paid at the appropriate overtime rate.

Shift Change Premium. If an employee's regularly scheduled work hours are changed with less than five (5) calendar daysadvance notice, those hours upon the first day of the modified schedule that fall outside of the originally scheduled hours shall be paid at the overtime rate. The provisions of this Section shall not apply if the change in work hours is at the request of the employee or is the result of an emergency or unforeseeable circumstance, such as inclement weather.
Shift Change Premium. Any employee (excluding casuals) given less than forty eight (48) hours notice of a change in the shift schedule shall be entitled to overtime rates for the first shift so affected. In cases of unexpected scheduling problems (eg. sick leave or operational emergencies) this notice period shall not apply.
Shift Change Premium. Employees who are assigned to a new work shift that is for a time period of one (1) workweek or more and the shift change alters the beginning or end of the regular work shift by two (2) hours or more shall be paid a shift change premium of one dollar and fifty cents ($1.50) per hour for all time worked during the new work shift, not to exceed a period of three (3) consecutive months; provided, however, the shift change premium shall not apply for those occasions and/or hours of work that are currently eligible for and have traditionally been paid under the overtime or callback provisions of Article 6. (Due to the nature of scheduling for golf course activities, golf course personnel will not be eligible for the premium provided by this Section.)

Shift Change Premium. If an employee has completed his regularly scheduled shift, he shall have eleven (11) hours off prior to the starting time of his next regularly scheduled shift except for purposes of receiving training as approved by the Chief, or to meet operational needs due to an officer reporting off for sick/injury. If an employee is recalled prior to the starting of his regularly scheduled shift without the expiration of eleven (11) hours from the completion of his last regularly scheduled shift, then he shall receive overtime for those hours worked prior to the starting time of his next regularly scheduled shift unless the reason for the recall is for purposes of receiving training as approved by the Chief, or to meet operational needs due to an officer reporting off for sick/injury with the approval of the officer whose shift is altered for a sick call off, in which case the officer shall be entitled to receive straight time for the hours worked and not overtime.

  • Shift Premium Effective July 1, 2020, an employee shall be paid a shift premium of ninety-five cents (95c/ ) per hour for each hour worked between 1500 hours and 0700 hours provided that such hours exceed two (2) hours if worked in conjunction with the day shift.

  • Training Premium Qualified Operators selected by the Employer to train new Operators shall be paid a training premium of 40¢ per hour while engaged in training work.

  • Shift Differential Compensation Any employee in the bargaining unit whose assigned work shift commences (for unit-1) prior to 5:30 a.m. or whose work shift ends after 5:30 p.m., or (for unit-2 members) commences after 2:00 p.m. shall be paid a shift differential premium of five (5%) percent above the regular rate of pay for all hours worked.

  • Shift Change Where employees are assigned mid-week to work a non-day shift (whether due to emergencies or a shift change) and as a result lose a shift in the regular work week, such employees will be paid six (6) hours for such loss of earnings.

  • Night Shift Premium Any employee who is required to work on any day when the majority of their working hours fall between 10.00 p.m. and 5.00 a.m., or who starts their shift prior to 5.00 a.m., shall be paid a premium, in addition to their regular, hourly rate, of one dollar and twenty-five cents ($1.25) per hour for all hours worked on the shift. Shift premium pay shall not be added to an employee’s hourly rate for the purpose of computing overtime. This clause shall not result in duplication of premiums.

  • Short Changeover Premium (a) If shifts are scheduled so that there are not twenty-four (24) hours between the start of an employee's shift and the start of his/her next shift, a premium calculated at the overtime rates will be paid for hours worked on the succeeding shift within the twenty-four (24) hour period.

  • Supervisory Differential Adjustment 99. The Appointing Officer may adjust the compensation of a supervisory employee whose schedule of compensation is set herein subject to the following conditions:

  • Shift Differential The shift differential for employees working on assigned shifts which begin before 6:00 A.M. or which end at or after 7:00 P.M. shall be sixty-five cents ($0.65) per hour for all hours worked on that shift. Such shift differential shall be in addition to the employee's regular rate of pay and shall be included in all payroll calculations, but shall not apply during periods of paid leave. Employees working the regular day schedule who are required to work overtime or who are called back to work for special projects shall not be eligible for the shift differential.

  • Overtime and Premium Pay Section 1. Overtime at the rate of one and one-half (1 1/2) times an employee's regular straight time hourly rate of pay shall be paid for all work over forty (40) hours in one (1) week.

  • Night Premium For all time worked by employees, after 7 p.m. and before 7 a.m., by employees hired on or before August 5, 2005, a premium of twenty-five cents (25¢) per hour shall be paid.
