Examples of A Shift in a sentence
A Shift is the scheduled period of work during the twenty-four (24) hour work day.
A Shift Premium of $0,30 per hour shall be paid for hours of work between 7:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. A Premium of $0,35 per hour shall be paid for hours of work on Saturday and Sunday (Shift Premium will also apply in case of Saturday and Sunday shift between 7:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.).
Example: A Shift that starts on Friday is straight time to completion of that shift.
A Shift Differential shall not be added to any unscheduled overtime hours worked, nor shall it apply to hours paid but not worked.
Each candidate must participate in a minimum of five (5) ride-alongs in at least three (3) separate districts, to include one (1) ride along during A Shift and three (3) ride-alongs during C shift.
A) Shift employees shall be entitled to two (2) fifteen (15) minute rest periods in each eight (8) hour shift and three (3) fifteen (15) minute rest periods in each twelve (12) hour shift.
