Once he has acquired his 309A COQ or 446 Certificate, he will then be paid at the full rate of pay of the classification as set out above. The Company will have the right to terminate an apprentice’s employment if the apprentice does not successfully complete the training course or if the apprentice’s work quality fails to meet Company standards. Apprentices shall accrue seniority only within each job classification and their level of training and have no rights to bump inside or outside their classification. Continued employment of all apprentices is contingent upon compliance with Ministry of Training, Colleges & Universities standards as required at certain intervals during their training period.
