Remittance Transfers. A "remittance transfer" is an electronic transfer of funds of more than $15.00 which is requested by a sender and sent to a designated recipient in a foreign country by a remittance transfer provider. If we act as a remittance transfer provider and conduct a remittance transfer(s) on your behalf, the transaction(s) will be governed by 12 C.F.R. part 1005, subpart B - Requirements for remittance transfers. Terms applicable to such transactions may vary from those disclosed herein and will be disclosed to you at the time such services are requested and rendered in accordance with applicable law.

Remittance Transfers. Remittance Transfers to a beneficiary in a foreign country covered under Regulation E will be held for up to 45-minutes upon your receipt of our Disclosure confirming your payment order. Payment occurs when funds are deducted from your designated account to cover the Remittance Transfer amount and any associated fees and taxes, which begins the 30-minute time period for cancellation addressed herein which is not calculated from the time we actually send funds. You have a right to cancel and obtain a refund, including all fees within 30-minutes of your Payment. In order to cancel, you must contact us within this 30-minutes of Payment at the phone number or e-mail address in this Agreement. When you contact us, you must provide us with information to help us identify the Remittance Transfer you wish to cancel, including the amount and location where the funds were sent, and, preferably the Reference Code printed on the Disclosure provided when you ordered the Remittance Transfer. We will refund your money within three (3) business days of your request to cancel a transfer as long as the funds have not already been picked up or deposited into a recipient’s account. After this 30-minute time period you may not be able to cancel or amend a remittance transfer request. However, we may, in our sole discretion, use reasonable efforts to act on your request for cancellation or amendment. Any request for cancellation or amendment is subject to applicable security procedure(s). We shall have no liability if such cancellation or amendment is not affected. Furthermore, you shall be solely liable for any and all damages arising or related to any amendment or cancellation; and agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any and all liabilities, costs and expenses we may incur in attempting to cancel or amend any transfer. You have the right to cancel a remittance transfer and obtain a refund of all funds paid to us, including any fees. Remittance Transfers. Remittance transfers are consumer electronic transfers of funds outside the United States whether initiated via the ACH system or a wire service. They are governed by Consumer Financial Protection Bureau Regulation E and other laws and regulations governing wire transfers. When you initiate a remittance transfer, you will receive a written disclosure required by law. That disclosure will, among other things, explain how you can cancel a remittance transfer before it is sent and the time within which you must do so. The disclosure will also include information on dispute resolution and applicable timeframes for disputes.
Remittance Transfers. The Bank may execute certain payment orders for you known as Remittance Transfers. A Remittance Transfer is a funds transfer initiated by a consumer primarily for personal, family or household purposes to a designated recipient in a foreign country. Effective as of the date set forth in the final rules implementing the Electronic Funds Transfer Act (“EFTA”), federal law may provide certain rights and obligations related to Remittance Transfers that may differ from rights and obligations that apply to other types of payment orders, including disclosure, cancellation and error resolution rights. To the extent the provisions of this Agreement are inconsistent with the oral or written disclosures provided to you for a Remittance Transfer governed by section 919 of EFTA, the terms of the disclosures provided at the time of the Remittance Transfer shall govern. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained herein, rights and obligations that apply to Remittance Transfers are as set forth in EFTA and, as applicable, as set forth in New York law.
Remittance Transfers. If the Credit Union conducts a remittance transfer (s) on a member’s behalf acting as a remittance transfer provider, such transactions will be governed by 12 C.F.R. part 1005, subpart B- Requirements for remittance transfers. Fees: Fees for all wire transfers may be assessed per the IDB-IIC Federal Credit Union’s Schedule of Fees. The Credit Union has the authority to change wire fees at any point without prior knowledge. The beneficiary may receive less due to fees charged by the beneficiary’s bank and foreign taxes. It is the originator’s responsibility to confirm any fees by the beneficiary financial institution prior to the wire being processed. The IDB-IIC Federal Credit Union is not responsible for any fees charged by the beneficiary financial institution.

Remittance Transfers. If you are a consumer who, primarily for personal, family, or household purposes, requests a wire transfer in excess of $15.00 be sent to a designated recipient (a person or an organization) to be received at a location in a foreign country (any location outside of the United States, or one of its territories or possessions, or Puerto Rico), your wire transfer is a type of wire transfer known as a “remittance transfer”. Federal law and regulation provide rights and duties related to remittance transfers that may not apply to other types of wire transfers (such as, certain cancellation rights, error resolution rights, and the duty to give disclosures when a remittance transfer is requested and made). If any provision(s) of this Agreement is inconsistent with the remittance transfer disclosure(s) that we give you, the terms of the remittance transfer disclosure(s) control. If any term(s) of section 22.a. conflicts with provision(s) of section 22, the terms of section 22.a.
Remittance Transfers. If you are a consumer and you request a wire transfer primarily for personal, family, or household purposes to a designated recipient in a foreign country, your wire transfer is a Remittance Transfer. If applicable, you will be provided with certain disclosures when required by federal law during the transfer process, which include, among other disclosures, certain error resolution and cancellation rights. Remittance Transfers are governed by this Agreement and the Remittance Transfer disclosure that we may provide to you. The provisions of the Remittance Transfer disclosures shall control over any inconsistent terms between this Agreement and the Remittance Transfer disclosures that we provide to you. If you are a business entity and not a consumer, and your account was not established for personal, family, or household purposes, you hereby acknowledge, agree, represent, and warrant that any and all wire transfers initiated by you to a beneficiary located in a foreign country, are for business purposes only and not for personal, family, or household purposes and are not subject to the provisions of the Electronic Funds Transfer Act and/or Consumer Financial Protection Bureau Regulation E. ACH Transactions: These additional terms apply to payments to or from your account that via ACH: • Your rights as to payments to or from your account will be based on the laws of the State of Georgia. • You agree to be bound by the NACHA Operating Rules. • When we credit your account for an ACH payment, the payment is provisional until we receive final settlement through a Federal Reserve Bank or otherwise receive payment. • If we don’t receive final settlement or payment, we’re entitled to a refund from you for the amount credited to your account. • Any Originating Depository Financial Institution (ODFI) may initiate, pursuant to NACHA Operating Rules, ACH debit entries to your account for presentment or re-presentment of Items you write or authorize. • If you receive an ACH credit or debit entry that is designated as an International ACH Transaction under NACHA Operating Rules, we are required to review the transaction to make sure that it does not violate or conflict with U.S. law. This review may delay the posting of the ACH entry and the entry may not post to your account on the effective date of the entry.
