- RECOGNITION OF THE BARGAINING UNIT. The Board recognizes the Ontario Public Service Employees Union and its Northern Ontario School of Medicine Xxxxx 000 Xxxx 0 as the exclusive Bargaining Agent of the Members of the Bargaining Unit. Until the Parties agree otherwise, and/or the Ontario Labour Relations Board amends the certificate, the Bargaining Unit is defined by the certificate of the Ontario Labour Relations Board dated January 30, 2006 (# 3031-05-R). This certificate and subsequent amendments, if any, shall be deemed to be incorporated into and become part of this Collective Agreement.
- RECOGNITION OF THE BARGAINING UNIT. The University recognizes the Association as the exclusive bargaining agent for the Bargaining Unit as defined in the OLRB certificate and decision of September 10, 1990, which is attached to this Agreement as Appendix A and forms part of the Agreement.
- RECOGNITION OF THE BARGAINING UNIT. The University recognizes the Canadian Union of Public Employees and its Local 895 as the exclusive bargaining agent for the bargaining unit as defined in the OLRB certificate and decision of 25 June 1996, which is attached to this Agreement as Appendix A and forms part of the Agreement.
- RECOGNITION OF THE BARGAINING UNIT. The Board recognises the Association as the exclusive Bargaining Agent for the Bargaining Unit(s) defined in the OLRB Certificates of 9 July 1979, 28 March 1994, and 31 October 1995 (which are attached as appendixes to this Memorandum of Agreement) and any amendments to these certificates.
- RECOGNITION OF THE BARGAINING UNIT. The City of Lancaster recognizes the Local 291, International Association of Firefighters, (hereinafter referred to as "Local 291") as the exclusive representative for full-time employees of the Fire Department holding the rank of firefighter, paramedic trainee, paramedic, fire inspector, lieutenant and captain. Full-time and regular employees are those who normally work thirty-five

The Union will exercise reason in entering into Memoranda of Agreement to allow the assignment of occasional teaching loads to qualified individuals who hold senior administrative posts within the University and whose official functions could reasonably be deemed to be inconsistent with Union membership.
- RECOGNITION OF THE BARGAINING UNIT. 2.15.1 Laurentian University Faculty Association represents: All Members of faculty, including professional librarians employed by Laurentian University of Sudbury in the Regional Municipality of Greater Sudbury; All Members of faculty employed by Laurentian University to teach courses for degree credit at locations outside the Regional Municipality of Greater Sudbury; and All persons employed by Laurentian University through the Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) to conduct instruction at off-campus centres located outside the Regional Municipality of Greater Sudbury or through distance Education Delivery modes. Save and Except: Administrative Staff, at or above the rank of Director; Academic Staff, at or above the rank of Associate Xxxx; Registrar, Special Advisor to the President, Director of Professional Relations, Translators, University Librarian, and Director, Office of Research Services; Members of the Board of Governors; Athletic Coaches required as part of their duties to teach degree credit activity courses; Full-Time Faculty Members employed by Laurentian University for a period of not more than one year while on leave from another university; Persons employed to teach courses intended primarily for students who are not registered in a degree credit program; Persons assigned responsibility for teaching portions of courses coordinated by regular faculty Members, such as Teaching Assistants, Field Consultants in Social Work, Clinical Teachers in Nursing, Laboratory Technicians, Clinical Instructors, or Outdoor School Instructors.

- RECOGNITION OF THE BARGAINING UNIT. 1. The Xxxxx Local School District Board of Education (hereinafter the “Board” or “District”) recognizes the Xxxxx East Education Association, OEA/NEA-Local (hereinafter the “Association”) as the sole and exclusive bargaining representative, for purposes of and as defined in Chapter 4117 of the Ohio Revised Code, for all professional, non-supervisory licensed personnel, both full-time and regular part-time, whether under verbal or written contract, on approved leave of absence, or on reduction in force list(s) with recall rights, who are employed or to be employed by the Board, including by way of illustration only but not limitation, classroom teachers, guidance counselors, in-school tutors paid by the hour, librarians, media specialists, substitutes who are entitled to regular contract status, and department heads.
- RECOGNITION OF THE BARGAINING UNIT. 5:01 The Employer recognizes the Manitoba Government and General Employees’ Union as the sole and exclusive bargaining agent for all employees working on behalf of MLC, Food & Beverage Services who are covered by Certificate No. MLB-6100 issued on August 28, 2003, save and except Managers, those above the rank of Managers, the Executive Chef, the Executive Sous Chef, the Office Person, those covered by other Collective Agreements and those excluded by the Act.
