- RECOGNITION OF THE BARGAINING UNIT. The Board recognizes the Ontario Public Service Employees Union and its Northern Ontario School of Medicine Xxxxx 000 Xxxx 0 as the exclusive Bargaining Agent of the Members of the Bargaining Unit. Until the Parties agree otherwise, and/or the Ontario Labour Relations Board amends the certificate, the Bargaining Unit is defined by the certificate of the Ontario Labour Relations Board dated January 30, 2006 (# 3031-05-R). This certificate and subsequent amendments, if any, shall be deemed to be incorporated into and become part of this Collective Agreement.

- RECOGNITION OF THE BARGAINING UNIT. 1. The Xxxxx Local School District Board of Education (hereinafter the “Board” or “District”) recognizes the Xxxxx East Education Association, OEA/NEA-Local (hereinafter the “Association”) as the sole and exclusive bargaining representative, for purposes of and as defined in Chapter 4117 of the Ohio Revised Code, for all professional, non-supervisory licensed personnel, both full-time and regular part-time, whether under verbal or written contract, on approved leave of absence, or on reduction in force list(s) with recall rights, who are employed or to be employed by the Board, including by way of illustration only but not limitation, classroom teachers, guidance counselors, in-school tutors paid by the hour, librarians, media specialists, substitutes who are entitled to regular contract status, and department heads.
