Posting Job Vacancies. (a) Except as expressly provided otherwise by this Agreement, all regular job vacancies shall be posted by the Employer for a minimum of five (5) consecutive working days to give all eligible employees an opportunity to apply for the position.

Posting Job Vacancies. 1. The Superintendent shall notify by the all staff e-mail, any teaching, counseling, or supplemental vacancies existing in U.S.D. 321 within two working days of position availability. The vacancy will be posted on the district web page and should be sent to placement bureaus if not filled within. Any teacher employed by U.S.D. 321 who makes a written request to both building administrator and superintendent to transfer to a vacant position in the district will be considered for the position by the building administrator and the superintendent.
Posting Job Vacancies. (a) Full Time Regular And Part Time Regular Jobs To Be Posted Except as expressly provided otherwise by this Agreement, all job vacancies for any Full Time Regular or Part Time Regular positions as defined in this Agreement shall be posted, in paper form and electronically, by the Employer on a bargaining unit wide basis for fourteen (14) consecutive calendar days to give all eligible Employees an opportunity to apply for the job(s). A copy of the Job Posting shall be forwarded to the Union.

The City agrees that vacancies will be open at least 14 calendar days after the date the vacancy notice was posted. No testing or interviewing will be conducted during the open period. All bargaining unit employees shall have the right to apply for the position by submitting the appropriate application form to Human Resources. All bargaining unit employees who meet minimum qualifications of the position and apply for the position will be interviewed. Any bargaining unit member who applied for the original vacancy and meets minimum qualifications, however, shall be considered interviewed for the subsequent positions. Employees on leave for more than two (2) weeks have the option of contacting Human Resources and requesting notification of any openings occurring during that time period in the classifications they specify. Employees applying for FMLA/OFLA leave will be notified of this option by their supervisor. These procedures will be posted in locations used to post job announcement and in the job announcements.

A job vacancy within the Bargaining Unit shall be posted for a minimum of seven (7) days on intra-office electronic communication systems or in designated locations accessible twenty-four (24) hours per day seven days per week within the agency at the facility where the vacancy exists. Such notices will specify the required qualifications, including knowledge, skills, ability, rate of pay or pay grade, specific work location, shift and days off, work unit if applicable, and classification(s). A job description will be provided to the Employee upon request.
