Member Recruitment. The Program Staff will assist in coordinating recruitment efforts and provide additional guidance and support to sites in facilitating their own recruitment efforts.

Member Recruitment. Homes for All seeks to actively include participants and staff from the communities in which projects are conducted and seek program staff and participants of different races, ethnicities, socioeconomic backgrounds, educational levels, and gender identities as well as recruitment of staff and participants who share a specific characteristic or background. Service site is primarily responsible for recruiting a capable member, with the assistance of Homes for All program staff. The service site agrees to complete face to face interviews when possible and telephone interviews when distance or other factors prevent a candidate from traveling to an in- person interview. Service site agrees to check references ahead of conditionally offering a position. Top candidates are expected to participate in an interview conducted by Homes for All program staff. Service sites are most familiar with their own needs, so service sites will be able to nominate a candidate they feel will best meet those needs. However, Homes for All program staff retains the right to veto a nominated candidate if the Program Director has serious concerns about an applicant’s ability to meet programmatic expectation.
Member Recruitment. The service site will take the lead in member recruitment. Opportunity Corps Staff will work closely with the site to provide recruitment support.
Member Recruitment. The Host Site agrees to take the lead in member recruitment in its local community. The Host Site is responsible to ensure their complete MSY (member service year) Award is filled – reaching a 100% enrollment and 100% retention rate. In addition, sites must commit to recruiting a diverse, qualified pool of applicants reflective of the communities in which the Promise Fellows serve. To ensure that the recruitment and selection process is fair and equitable, Host Sites are required to submit a position description and interview questions for the Alliance to review. ❏ The Promise Fellow Recruitment Lead, as identified in the Host Site Application, will be responsible for the host site’s recruitment. This staff person will be granted access to the Alliance’s recruitment system and will be expected to access the portal regularly to ensure efficient communication with candidates and the Alliance. This individual will be the Alliance’s primary contact point for recruitment updates and communication. It is expected that the Recruitment Lead will dedicate sufficient time to promoting the position, networking within the host site’s community, and supporting &/or conducting host site interviews in order to fill all awarded slots. This person needs to be available as a point of contact and active recruiter during the summer months and throughout the program year to support the program enrollment and retention goals. The Alliance will accept applications and forward eligible applicants to the Host Sites during the recruitment process.
Member Recruitment. TerraCorps Member recruitment and selection systems ensure a fair and equitable process that: Generates a diverse applicant pool and meets program needs; and Follows a consistent application process for each applicant. Each year, TerraCorps staff work with Service Sites to establish deadlines and strategies for Member recruitment and selection, and to ensure fair and equitable recruitment and selection processes. Specific responsibilities for TerraCorps staff include: Coordinate with Site Supervisors and state commissions/government agencies to write and approve position announcements and descriptions; Place Member service position announcements with statewide and national recruitment venues; Contact statewide disability organizations for help with outreach to these communities; Coordinate with Site Supervisors to ensure broad and timely distribution of position announcements within the communities served by Service Sites; Communicate with applicants, manage an applicant database, and work with reviewers to screen applications, distribute applications to Site Supervisors, and help coordinate applicant interviews; Ensure Service Site adherence to AmeriCorps rules for applicant screening and interviews; Coordinate Member selection to facilitate strong overall placements; and Determine when to stop recruiting new applicants. TerraCorps will announce all Member positions for all Service Sites on its website and will support Service Sites’ Member recruitment efforts with broad, general publicity. Specific Service Site Partner Supervisor responsibilities for Member recruitment include: __ Draft Member service position descriptions to fit site-specific needs and submit these descriptions and announcement texts for approval by TerraCorps staff. __ Lead a robust local effort for Member recruitment and selection which includes announcing position openings on Service Site Partner’s website, contacting local newspapers and community colleges, and using Service Site Partner organization’s regional networks to enhance local awareness of these service opportunities. __ Actively participate in timely review of Member applications and coordination of applicant interviews. __ Work with TerraCorps staff and other Service Site Partners to ensure timely Member selection. __ Directly offer Member service positions to applicants and coordinate with TerraCorps staff to initiate enrollment communications with the new Member. __ Submit required Member interview and reference notes ...

  • Periodic Recruitment The State reserves the right to add new Contractors during the term of the Centralized Contract via periodic recruitment. OGS will formally announce when the periodic recruitment Solicitation is issued. It is at the discretion of OGS when a future periodic recruitment shall commence. A periodic recruitment will be publicly announced through all standard means including, but not limited to: the NYS Contract Reporter; and OGS website.   • New Member Orientation The Employer will notify the Union of any newly represented temporary employees. The Union will be given the opportunity to have a Union representative speak with the newly represented temporary employees for not more than thirty (30) minutes to provide information about the Union and this Agreement.

  • New Employee Orientation The Union will provide each agency personnel director with the names and addresses of up to two (2) authorized Union representatives per agency to receive notice of each formal orientation meeting held by the Department. The notice will be sent as soon as such meetings are scheduled (but not less than ten (10) days in advance) and will include date, time and location. Due to operational exigencies, agencies may schedule an orientation which will provide the Union with less than the requisite ten (10) days' notice; however the Union shall be notified as soon as possible after the scheduling of the orientation and the Union representative shall be released from duty. Agencies shall routinely schedule orientations in a manner that will allow for the ten (10) day advance notice to the Union. During the formal orientation, the Union will be permitted to give a twenty (20) minute presentation which may include an enrollment in supplemental Union benefits. The parties shall encourage employee attendance, although attendance shall not be mandatory if an employee objects to attending the presentation. In the event a formal orientation meeting is not held, or the Union is unable to attend the formal orientation because the designated Union representatives cannot be released under Article 4, the Employer shall allow the Union representative and the employee(s) to meet during duty hours at a mutually agreed upon time and location for twenty (20) minutes Employee participation in these meetings shall be encouraged although an employee shall not be required to attend such a meeting.

  • Board Member Training Within 90 days after the Effective Date, each member of the Board of Directors shall receive at least two hours of training. This training shall address the corporate governance responsibilities of board members, and the responsibilities of board members with respect to review and oversight of the Compliance Program. Specifically, the training shall address the unique responsibilities of health care Board members, including the risks, oversight areas, and strategic approaches to conducting oversight of a health care entity. This training may be conducted by an outside compliance expert hired by the Board and should include a discussion of the OIG’s guidance on Board member responsibilities.‌ New members of the Board of Directors shall receive the Board Member Training described above within 30 days after becoming a member or within 90 days after the Effective Date, whichever is later.

  • New Employee Orientations The County shall provide the Union written notice of County-wide new employee orientations, whether in person or online, at least ten (10) business days prior to the orientation. The notice shall include time, date, and location of the orientation. Representatives of the Union shall be permitted to meet with the new employees for up to thirty (30) minutes during a portion of the orientation for which attendance is mandatory. The Union shall provide the County at least five (5) business days prior to the orientation any materials it would like the County to distribute to new employees at the orientation. If the Union staff are unavailable, the County shall grant release time for one (1) union xxxxxxx to attend the orientation pursuant to Section 6.2.1 The County shall make best efforts to provide the Union with the name, job title, department, work location, work, home and personal cellular telephone numbers, personal email addresses, and home addresses of all employees in the bargaining unit every 90 days, but no less than once every 120 days.

  • SUPERVISORY PERSONNEL All supervisors and foremen shall be excluded from the bargaining unit and will not perform any work which falls within the scope of this Agreement. When supervisors and foremen are appointed, a notice to that effect will be posted and maintained on a bulletin board.

  • Labour Management (a) No employee or group of employees will undertake to represent the Union at meetings with the University without the proper authorization of the Union. Neither will the University meet with any employee or group of employees undertaking to represent the Union without the authorization of the Union. In representing an employee or group of employees, an elected or appointed representative of the Union will speak for the Union.

  • Employee Orientation Each and every person working for a contractor, including sub- contractors, will be given an orientation to familiarize them with the site safety program. Unless otherwise specified, each sub-contractor is responsible for the orientation of their workers.
