Position Openings. Teachers working part time in the job share 38 assignment under this agreement will be entitled to bid for other position 39 openings within the district. However, there is no guarantee or right by 40 the job share teacher to such openings although they will be considered.
Position Openings. The College and the University System will post job vacancies on their respective websites. Adjunct faculty members are encouraged to review such postings as appropriate for tenure-track positions and administrative positions. Members of the unit will be considered internal candidates for the purposes of applying for USNH positions and for the purpose of qualifying for USNH policy USY- V-E-6.1 without regard to the definitions in USY-V-E-6.1.
Position Openings. If the position opening is not filled pursuant to this Section or Section 5.5, such opening shall be advertised in accordance with Article 5, Section 5.
Position Openings. Notices of position vacancies which occur within the bargaining unit shall be posted on the District website. For internal only vacancies, only District employees shall be considered. All job openings within the bargaining unit shall be advertised for a period of ten (10) working days before such openings are filled. An employee who wishes to apply for a job opening must apply with the Human Resources Department in accordance with the job posting.
Position Openings. Section 11.1 The City shall first consider bargaining unit employees for job openings within said unit. Among those of equal qualifications, preference shall be given according to order of seniority within the bargaining unit. The City shall provide the Union written notice of any job openings. When a bargaining unit employee is not selected for a job opening within the unit, the City will discuss the reason(s) for him/her not being selected upon request of the employee. Additionally, the effected employee may request that a union representative attend the meeting.
Position Openings. Bargaining unit position openings shall be publicized by any appropriate means that provides all current bargaining unit members with notice of the vacancy. Members of the bargaining unit will be given the opportunity to apply for these positions. If administrative vacancies occur, management will make efforts to apprise bargaining unit members of these opportunities.
Position Openings. A. Employees in the unit whose current performance rating is satisfactory or better shall be entitled to bid for transfer to another vacant position. A vacant position shall mean an authorized position not filled by a duly appointed person.
B. Position openings shall be posted in all buildings, faculty rooms, e-mailed to all district employees, and posted on employer's website in employee section. Bids for transfer to vacant positions must be submitted within five (5) school days of the initial posting.
C. In the event that two or more qualified employees shall bid for a vacant position, the senior employee shall be assigned to the position and shall be given a trial period of six (6) months in that position. An employee in this capacity who does not receive satisfactory evaluations will be returned to their previous position.
D. It is acknowledged that the Superintendent of Schools, or his/her designee, has the prerogative to assign or transfer all employees in the bargaining unit, provided that such assignments or transfers do not violate sections A, B, or C of this Article. It is recognized that some transfers or reassignments of employees may be made on an involuntary basis. Notification of such transfers shall be made on a person-to-person basis. In the event that an employee objects to such a transfer or reassignment, upon the request of the employee, the Superintendent shall meet with the employee to review the reason(s) for the transfer. The employee may, at their option, have an Association representative present at such a meeting.
Position Openings. The Board shall advise the Congress of all full-time openings in professional positions at any college or at the System Office.
Position Openings. Pursuant to the CLA Article 18, and as follows:
Position Openings. Openings" are defined as new or vacant positions of an hour or greater that become available due to additional student or District needs or resignation of an employee that the District has determined to fill.
a. Openings will be posted in-district for 5 days.
b. In the event more than one qualified employee applies for the opening and the qualifications of these employees are substantially equal, the senior employee will be given the position.
c. If no current employees apply within the 5 days, the District may post the opening externally.
d. Openings occurring within 2 weeks of the beginning of the school year may be posted simultaneously internally and externally.
e. Substitutes will be treated as external employees.
f. Employees will be notified of openings that occur during the summer by email if there are such addresses on file with the district.
