SERVICE YEAR. 235 A. Employees of the bargaining unit agree to a service year of 195 days. Teachers with 236 previous teaching experience who are new to Des Moines agree to a service year of 197 237 days. New employees who are not part of the alternative teacher contract agree to a service 238 year of 199 days. New employees who are part of the Alternative Teacher Contract agree to 239 a service year as set forth in Appendix 3.
SERVICE YEAR. A. Employees of the bargaining unit agree to a service year of 195 days. However, Sign Language Interpreters will have a service year of 190 days. Teachers with previous teaching experience who are new to Des Moines agree to a service year of 197 days. New employees who are not part of the alternative teacher contract (Appendix 4) agree to a service year of 199 days. New employees who are part of the Alternative Teacher Contract (Appendix 4) agree to a service year as set forth in Appendix 4. SUCCESS employees of the bargaining unit agree to a service year of 260 days.
SERVICE YEAR. 1. The service year shall be from July 1 to June 30 of the following year or such part thereof as is specified at the time of employment.
SERVICE YEAR. (4.1) The basic service year for all returning employees shall include one hundred eighty seven (187) days, including not more than one hundred eighty (180) days of school. Additional days will be scheduled for new employees during the first year of employment; such days shall be considered part of the basic service year during the initial year of employment.
SERVICE YEAR. The School Year begins on July 1 and ends on June 30. Years of service shall begin on the unit member’s first day of employment.
SERVICE YEAR. (9.1) The basic service for all employees shall include one hundred eighty seven (187) days, including not more than one hundred eighty (180) days of school. One (1) additional day of in-service and two (2) additional induction program days will be scheduled for new employees. In the event that additional time is mandated without full state funding of the additional time, bargaining on the salary schedule will be re-opened per Code section 20.17.6*). For secondary employees, there will be one workday at the end of each semester. Elementary employees will have a workday at the end of the school year, and, in lieu of a January workday, will have three noon dismissals, each scheduled prior to a conference series.
SERVICE YEAR. If the Employer should deem it necessary to change the "service year" of a given job, the employee(s) affected shall be given every consideration for a position vacancy with the same "service year" as the job in question.
SERVICE YEAR. “Service year” is defined as the period of time between an employee's date of hire and the one-year anniversary date of the employee's date of hire or the period of time between any two (2) consecutive anniversaries of the employee's date of hire thereafter.
SERVICE YEAR. Xx. Xxxxxxxx shall render twelve (12) months of full and regular service to the District. Xx. Xxxxxxxx is a full-time exempt employee. Xx. Xxxxxxxx shall devote the time necessary to adequately perform the duties of General Manager. The parties expect that a minimum of 40 hours per week during normal business hours, as well as additional time outside of the normal business hours, will be required to satisfy this requirement. Toward that end, Xx. Xxxxxxxx shall be allowed reasonable flexibility in setting his own office hours (subject to revision by the Board), provided that the schedule of such hours provides adequate availability to the Board of Trustees and District staff during normal business hours and for the performance of District business.
