Health and Wellbeing. The health and wellbeing of employees is a priority for AWH and I recognise the importance of an environment that promotes and nurtures the physical, mental, emotional and social wellbeing of all individuals. I commit to: − Reporting through the Incident Management System any near misses or incidents as they occur. − Partaking in the promotion of the health and wellbeing of employees. − Contributing to an inclusive and health promoting environment. − Promoting our values and vision. − An organisational culture that promotes positive mental health and wellbeing through supportive leadership, employee participation and shared decision making.
Health and Wellbeing. 6.1 Members must seek medical advice as necessary to ensure that intended exercise/use will not adversely affect that member’s health and physical condition. 6.2 Each member accepts membership is on the condition that it is the member’s responsibility to obtain proper medical advice at all times with regards to any exercise intended to be carried out on the premises. The member undertakes to keep the company and its employees free and harmless from liability which arises as a result of breach of this condition.
Health and Wellbeing. 26.1 The provisions of the Award apply in conjunction with the provisions detailed in Council’s Sick Leave Protocol.
Health and Wellbeing. If during the program, the student is diagnosed with a physical condition that prevents him/her from participating normally in their program, they may be sent home, at the discretion of EF Academy. Similarly, if the student is diagnosed with a mental health condition (including but not limited to anorexia, bulimia, anxiety or adjustment disorder, or depression) or if a student shows clear symptoms of a mental health disorder that puts the safety of the student or those around them at risk (including but not limited to binging, purging, restrictive eating, panic attacks, anxiety, self-harm or suicidal ideation), the student may be sent home on medical leave. Parents/guardians may be required to physically collect the student from campus within 24 hours of being notified. Any costs incurred by EF Academy for making arrangements in case of the parents’/guardian’ failure to collect the student will be invoiced to the parent/guardian. Should the need arise for the student to speak to a medical or mental health provider, these evaluations will be confidential to relevant staff of EF Academy and/or its affiliates if necessary to protect the vital interests of the student. We, the parent(s) or guardian(s) consent to such treatment and authorize such release. – In the event that a student becomes pregnant and unable or unwilling to participate in the studies, the student will need to return home at the parents’/guardians’ own expense. Pregnancy and childbirth-related leave will be treated as a medical leave according to the Attendance Policy. – Should the student’s medical leave impact the student’s ability to complete their program, they may be required to repeat the academic year. Depending on the length of medical leave required, the student may need to withdraw for that academic year. See the Withdrawal Policy section of this Agreement for refund policy conditions. – Definition: Medical Leave is when a student is deemed unable to continue with their program on any medical grounds. They will be required to return home to receive necessary treatment, therapy, or support.
Health and Wellbeing. (a) The principle of health and wellbeing reflects the overarching purpose of the Settlement, which is to restore and protect the health and wellbeing of the Waikato River. (b) The health and wellbeing of Waikato-Tainui and its special relationship with the Waikato River Is inherently connected with the health and wellbeing of the Waikato River.
Health and Wellbeing. The Parties to this Agreement recognise that workplace health and wellbeing programs can lead to positive outcomes such as improved work performance and productivity, improved recruitment and engagement, reduced absenteeism and other benefits. Council has an employee health and wellbeing program available to all employees and is committed to regular review and ongoing development of the program.
Health and Wellbeing. (i) To support health and wellbeing, Council will offer health and wellbeing leave for the duration of this Agreement. (ii) An employee may apply for up to two (2) days’ paid leave per calendar year from their accrued sick leave balance to participate in a health and/or wellbeing activity, subject to the following: a) Leave must be requested at least one (1) week in advance. b) Council will have discretion whether or not to approve health and wellbeing leave. Factors that may lead to health and xxxxxxxxx leave being refused include: 1. The employee has outstanding sick leave certificates; or 2. The requested leave date will adversely affect business needs, applying the same approach as requests for annual leave and long service leave. (iii) The taking of paid health and wellbeing leave under this clause must not result in the employee having a total accumulated sick leave balance of less than two (2) weeks. (iv) Council may require proof of participation in the activity to justify payment. (v) Health and wellbeing leave is deducted from employees’ accumulated sick leave balances and is therefore included in the calculation of the sick leave/cash attendance bonus.

Health and Wellbeing a) You must disclose all significant health issues or medical conditions to BBDR by completing the Personal Health History. Your Personal Health History must be submitted to BBDR no later than seven (7) days prior to attending the Retreat. b) You warrant to BBDR that the information provided in the Personal Health History is true and accurate. c) Upon receipt of your completed Personal Health History, BBDR may require a doctor’s certificate to confirm that Your attendance at the Retreat and participant in the Treatments is suitable. d) You acknowledge and agree that BBDR may refuse entry or require you to leave a Retreat or Treatment (and any payment which You have made to date will not be refunded) if: i) you have not completed the Personal Health History; or ii) you make or are suspected by BBDR (on reasonable grounds) to have made any material omission or misrepresentation in your Personal Health History. e) You acknowledge and agree that BBDR and its Personnel give advice and information relating to general health and wellbeing. The information provided is not medical advice, and should not be treated as such, nor should it be relied upon as a substitute for advice from your doctor or other medical professional. f) BBDR and its Personnel are qualified to provide You with naturopathic advice and treatments only. g) BBDR is not a medical practice and is not equipped or qualified to handle serious medical conditions. BBDR does have a doctor on call for emergency assistance only. h) BBDR Retreats are not suitable for drug or alcohol withdrawal or treatment. i) BBDR does not have the facilities or experience to provide high-need or special care for clients with physical, physiological or emotional needs. If You are in need of mobility assistance or have other special needs, BBDR require You to notify us of your needs at the time of booking and to make arrangements to attend the Retreat with a suitable carer or support worker. j) The sale, storage or consumption of alcohol, non- prescription drugs, non-organic food, coffee/tea and sweets is strictly prohibited at the Retreat.
