ESP Vacation Days. Twelve month employees shall receive paid vacation time. Vacations shall generally be scheduled during non-student attendance days. The Superintendent may approve vacations to be taken during other periods. Vacation requests shall be made to the Superintendent or his/her designee and such requests shall not be unreasonably denied. Denials shall be based upon situations where more than one employee requests the same vacation date(s), or situations where work scheduling reasonably prohibits the scheduling of vacations during the requested period. In case of conflicting vacation requests, the employee who first made the request will be given the priority. This policy shall also be applied to vacation days granted to twelve month employees during student attendance days. Vacation days will be computed in accordance with the following schedule. July 1 of any year will be the employment anniversary date used to calculate earned vacation.

ESP Vacation Days. Twelve (12)-month employees shall receive ten (10) days of vacation after one (1) full year of service to the District. During the first year of employment, vacation shall be earned at a rate of two and one-half (2½) days per quarter worked. For example, if a custodian works two quarters during his/her first year of employment, he/she shall earn five (5) days of vacation. Vacations shall be scheduled with the immediate supervisor. Requests for vacations must be made in writing to the immediate supervisor. Such vacation is to be taken at the convenience of the employer.

Paid Holidays for Full-time ESP All full-time ESP who are scheduled to work twelve (12) months shall be entitled to the following paid holidays: New Year’s Day, Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx Day, Lincoln’s Birthday or Presidents’ Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Thanksgiving Day, Friday following Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve (full day), Christmas Day, One Non-attendance Day. All extended ESP positions working at least 220 days per year, and within the school calendar, shall be entitled to the following paid holidays: New Year’s Day, Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx Day, Lincoln’s Birthday or Presidents’ Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Thanksgiving Day, Friday following Thanksgiving, Christmas Day. All extended ESP positions working at least 210 days per year, and within the school calendar, shall be entitled to the following paid holidays: New Year’s Day, Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx Day, Lincoln’s Birthday or Presidents’ Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day. All extended ESP positions working at least 195 or 200 days per year, and within the school calendar, shall be entitled to the following paid holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day, Lincoln’s Birthday or Presidents’ Day. All extended ESP positions working at least 185 days per year, and within the school calendar, shall be entitled to the following paid holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day.

  • Vacation Days Employee shall be entitled to the same paid vacation days each calendar year during the term of this Employee Agreement as authorized by the Company for its other employees.

  • Weeks Vacation Subject to Article 17.08 and Article 17.01 (a) (ii), employees shall be entitled to take five (5) weeks vacation leave with pay during the first and subsequent complete fiscal years following the date in which they complete fourteen (14) years of service. Such leave shall be earned at the rate of two and one-twelfth (2 1/12) days for each completed calendar month of service.

  • Unused Vacation ASF Members may accumulate unused vacation to any amount provided that once during each fiscal year each ASF Member's accumulation must be reduced to two hundred and seventy-five (275) hours or less, unless the President determines that the ASF Member is unable to utilize vacation leave because of the requirements of the individual’s assignment or because of physical incapacity. This reduction must be accomplished on or before last day of the fiscal year. If this reduction is not accomplished on or before the last day of the fiscal year, the ASF Member’s accumulation shall automatically be reduced to two hundred and seventy-five (275) hours effective on the last day of the fiscal year, and the amount of accumulation over two hundred and seventy-five (275) hours will transfer to the ASF Member’s bank of lapsed sick leave (See Article 18, section C, Subd.2). Vacation leave accrued during the pay period that includes the last day of a fiscal year, will be credited to each ASF Member’s balance after deductions are made for vacation used and/or reduced pursuant this Subdivision.

  • Reinstatement of Vacation Days - Sick Leave In the event an employee is sick or injured prior to the commencement of his/her vacation, such employee shall be granted sick leave and the vacation period so displaced shall be added to the vacation period if requested by the employee and by mutual agreement, or shall be reinstated for use at a later date.

  • Prime Time Vacation Period Subject to the provisions of this article, it is the intent of the parties that no employee will be restricted in the time of year they choose to take their vacation. The Employer will make every effort to allow employees to take their vacation during the period of April 15th to October 15th inclusive, which will be defined as the prime time vacation period.

Those employees who are on a 12-month teacher contract are paid during Spring Break and Winter Recess, however, are not expected to be in attendance or perform duties during those breaks.

  • Vacation During the Employment Period, the Executive shall be entitled to paid vacation in accordance with the most favorable plans, policies, programs and practices of the Company and its affiliated companies as in effect for the Executive at any time during the 120-day period immediately preceding the Effective Date or, if more favorable to the Executive, as in effect generally at any time thereafter with respect to other peer executives of the Company and its affiliated companies.
