Paid Holidays for Full-time ESP. All full-time ESP who are scheduled to work twelve (12) months shall be entitled to the following paid holidays: New Year’s Day, Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx Day, Lincoln’s Birthday or Presidents’ Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Thanksgiving Day, the Friday following Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve (full day), Christmas Day, One Non-attendance Day. All extended ESP positions working at least 220 days per year, and within the school calendar, shall be entitled to the following paid holidays: New Year’s Day, Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx Day, Lincoln’s Birthday or Presidents’ Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Thanksgiving Day, the Friday following Thanksgiving, Christmas Day. All extended ESP positions working at least 210 days per year, and within the school calendar, shall be entitled to the following paid holidays: New Year’s Day, Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx Day, Lincoln’s Birthday or Presidents’ Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day. All extended ESP positions working at least 195 or 200 days per year, and within the school calendar, shall be entitled to the following paid holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day, Lincoln’s Birthday or Presidents’ Day. All extended ESP positions working at least 185 days per year, and within the school calendar, shall be entitled to the following paid holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day.

  • Work on a Paid Holiday A) Regular Employee

  • Compensation for Holidays Worked a. With the exception of the provisions in Section C.2.b., below, an employee required to work on a holiday listed above shall be paid at the employee's regular straight-time rate of pay for the hours actually worked. In addition, an eligible employee shall receive either compensatory time off or holiday pay at the option of the University at the regular straight-time rate, including any shift differential.

  • Afternoon Shift If a second shift is employed, the hours of work shall be seven and one-half (7 1/2) hours of work between the hours of 4:30 P.M. and 12:30 A.M. for which eight (8) hours will be paid and a shift premium of sixty-one cents (61¢) shall be added on to the classified hourly rate.

  • Pay for Holidays Worked (a) When an employee is required to work on a designated holiday, the employee shall be paid compensation, or given compensatory time off, for such work at the rate of time and one-half the employee’s regular rate of pay, in addition to regular pay received for all hours worked for the holiday.

  • Working Day Working Day means a day other than a Saturday, Sunday, or a holiday which is observed by the construction industry in the area of the Place of the Work.

  • Compensation for Work on a Holiday (a) Where an Employee is regularly scheduled to work, in accordance with Article 14, and her regularly scheduled day of work falls on a paid holiday, as defined in Article 18.01, she shall receive compensation equal to two and one-half (2 ½) times her regular rate of pay as follows:

  • Workweek A regularly re-occurring period of one hundred and sixty-eight (168) hours consisting of seven (7) consecutive twenty-four (24) hour periods. Workweeks will normally begin at 12:00 a.m. on Sunday and end at 12:00 midnight the following Saturday or as otherwise designated by the appointing authority. If there is a change in their workweek, employees will be given written notification by the appointing authority or their designee.
