VACATION DAYS definition

VACATION DAYS. The Superintendent shall be entitled to 30 working days of paid vacation, exclusive of Board recognized holidays, during each year of this Agreement. Such vacation period shall be with pay and shall be selected by the Superintendent during periods of time least disruptive to the operation of the District. The Superintendent shall take at least ten (10) days vacation per year and shall be entitled to carry a maximum of not more than ten (10) days to the next year with Board approval (maximum of40 vacation days in any given year). Any other vacation days not used will be forfeited. HOLIDAYS: Holidays shall be allowed as granted to other twelve (12) month employees.
VACATION DAYS. An employee departing service shall be paid an amount equal to the employee's accrual rate for vacation accrued in accordance with the current Town of Littleton Bylaw. An employee shall repay the Town at a rate equal to his accrual rate for unearned vacation used during the fiscal year. This shall be paid through a deduction made to the employee’s final payroll check.
VACATION DAYS. The employee shall receive twenty (25) vacation days per year (5 days will be unpaid if unused). Any unused vacation days will be paid to the employee in the second pay of June annually at the rate of $400.00 per day (Maximum of $8000.00). Vacation periods are limited to two (2) consecutive weeks. This continuous period may only be lengthened under special conditions. Any request for continuous time must be in writing in advance to the Board of Education for approval. Disability: Seventy percent (70%) of gross salary. Monthly maximum of $5,000. There is a 60 calendar day wait period to become eligible for disability insurance. A pool of days will be made available after the exhaustion of the administrator's accumulated vacation and sick days to equal sixty (60) days. Life Insurance: $100,000 of Term Life Insurance.
