Christmas Eve. A Nurse who works a shift between 12 00 hours and 24 00 hours on December 24th shall receive an hour off for each hour worked up to a maximum of four (4) hours off. This provision is not applicable to a Casual Nurse (except a Casual Nurse while in a Temporary Position).
Christmas Eve. The Courts will determine the staffing requirement for December 24th during the early part of December so that as many employees as possible can plan to have that day off.
Christmas Eve. All full-time and part-time employees will receive one-half (1/2) day off with pay on 24 December. In the event that 24 December falls on a Saturday or Sunday, permanent employees will receive the one-half (1/2) day with pay on the Friday immediately preceding.
Christmas Eve. Each employee working a full shift on Christmas Eve Day, where Christmas Day falls on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or Saturday, will have three and one-half (3.5) hours added to his vacation bank.
Christmas Eve. The second half of the working day prior to Christmas Day (Christmas Eve) shall be designated as a holiday. For the Christmas Eve holiday, Employees shall be paid as defined in Addendum B.
Christmas Eve. The City shall provide an additional paid half (1 ½) day holiday on the afternoon (4 hours) of December 24th, known as Christmas Eve. The Christmas Eve holiday shall be observed on the afternoon of the workday proceeding the day on which the December 25th holiday, known as Christmas Day, is observed.
Christmas Eve. If an employee is scheduled to work Christmas Eve and the employee physically works Christmas Eve, the employee shall receive the sum of one hundred forty ($140.00) dollars for that day. This sum is to be added with the employee's regular pay. However, it is understood by the Employee and the Union that the addition of Christmas Eve to the Holiday Schedule will not result in any additional days off being granted by the Employer.
Christmas Eve. If an employee is scheduled to work Christmas Eve and the employee physically works Christmas Eve, the employee shall receive the sum of One Hundred Seventy-Five Dollars ($175.00) for that day only if he/she works a minimum of eight (8) hours on the holiday (for twelve hour shifts). For employees working an eight (8) hour shift, he/she must work a minimum of six (6) hours on the holiday to be paid the $175. This sum is to be added with the employee's regular pay, however, it is understood by the Employee and the Union that the addition of Christmas Eve to the holiday schedule will not result in any additional days off being granted by the Employer.
Christmas Eve. No full-time employee shall be required to work past 6:00 p.m. on Christmas Eve.
Christmas Eve. Employees who work on Christmas Eve shall receive their regular pay for the time they work on such day plus a bonus of two (2) extra hours for each and every shift they worked on such day. Dispatchers working the overnight shift, shall not be eligible to receive both the Christmas Eve and Christmas Day bonus for working a single shift.
