Agency Shop and Dues Check-off. Section A. It shall be a continuing condition of employment with the County that employees covered by this Agreement: 1) shall become and remain members of the FOP in good standing to the extent of paying the FOP membership dues, or 2) in the alternative an employee shall be required to pay a service fee in the amount of twelve dollars ($12.00) biweekly for a total of three hundred twelve dollars ($312.00) per year for the duration of this contract. Such biweekly payments shall be deducted by the County. In the event of an FOP dues increase, the service fee may be increased on July 1 of any year of this Agreement upon sixty (60) days advance notice to the County. The increase shall not exceed the new dues amount. The FOP is responsible for certifying in writing all dues increases and the correct amount to be deducted for each bargaining unit member.

Agency Shop and Dues Check-off. 4.1. The Employer will not discriminate against any employee because the Employee voluntarily chooses to be a member of the union or to otherwise pay fees to the Union for bargaining and defending the Collective Bargaining Agreement; nor will the Employer discriminate against any Employee who chooses not to be a member of, or not to pay dues/fees to the Union.
Agency Shop and Dues Check-off. A. Employees covered by this Agreement shall pay, as a condition of continued employment, to the POAM those fees that POAM determines to be that employee's proportionate share of the cost of negotiating and administering this collective bargaining agreement. This fee shall be determined in accordance with the standard procedures established by the POAM for this purpose. If during the term of this Agreement it shall be determined by a court of competent jurisdiction that the percentage developed by the POAM is unlawful or does not fairly represent the proportionate share of the cost of negotiating and administering the Agreement, the amount shall be modified to such amount as shall be lawful and proportionate.

Each Flight Attendant who fails to voluntarily acquire or maintain membership in the Union will be required as a condition of continued employment beginning 30 days after the completion of his/her probationary period, to pay the Union each month a service charge as a contribution for the administration of this Agreement and the representation of such Flight Attendant. This service charge will be an amount equal to the Union’s regular and usual dues and periodic assessments, including MEC assessments.
Agency Shop and Dues Check-off. A. As the sole and exclusive bargaining agent for employees as recognized above, the Union will receive dues payment from all represented employees. The employer agrees that it will, on the first payroll in each month, deduct the Union dues from the pay of each employee who is a member of the union and any regular employee in the bargaining unit who does not join the Union within thirty (30) days thereafter, shall as a condition of employment, pay a Representation fee to the Union by automatic payroll deduction. The Representation Fee shall be in an amount equal to eighty-five percent (85%) of the regular Union membership dues, fees, and assessments as certified to the Town by the Union. The Union may revise its certification of the amount of the Representation Fee at any time to reflect changes in the regular union membership dues, fees, and assessments. The Union's entitlement to the Representation Fee shall continue beyond the termination date of this Agreement so long as the Union remains the majority representative of the employees in the unit, provided that no modification is made in this provision by a successor agreement between the Union and the Town. These dues will be transmitted with a list of such employees to the Secretary-Treasurer of Local Union 469 within ten (10) days after dues are deducted.
