Request for Dues Check Off. Employees shall have the right to request and be allowed dues check off for the Exclusive Representative, provided that dues check off and the proceeds thereof shall not be allowed any employee organization that has lost its right to dues check off pursuant to the PELRA Upon receipt of a properly executed authorization card of the employee involved, the District will deduct from the employee’s paycheck the dues as specified by the Union.

The Board of Education agrees to deduct during each payroll period an amount sufficient to provide the payment of dues established by the Association from the wages of all employees authorizing in writing such deductions on forms provided by the Association. The Association will indemnify, defend, and hold the Board of Education harmless against any claims made and against any suits instituted against the Board of Education, its officers or employees, by reason of payroll deductions for dues.

Upon receipt of a properly executed authorization from the exclusive representative, the School District will deduct from the teachers’ paycheck in installments the dues that the teacher has agreed to pay to the teacher organization.

Teachers shall have the right to request and be allowed dues check off for the teacher organization of their selection, provided that dues check off and the proceeds thereof shall not be allowed any teacher organization that has lost its right to dues check off pursuant to M.S. 179A.01 to M.S. 179A.25

On an annual basis, prior to September fifteenth, the local shall provide dues deduction rates and an annual dues deduction cap for maximum contributions which can be withheld from any individual employee’s earnings during a given school year. The Board of Education agrees to deduct during each payroll period an amount sufficient to provide the payment of dues established by Local 59 from the wages of all employees authorizing in writing such deductions on forms provided by Local 59. Local 59 will indemnify, defend, and hold the Board of Education harmless against any claims made and against any suits instituted against the Board of Education, its officers or employees, by reason of payroll deductions for dues.
Request for Dues Check Off. The Association shall be allowed dues check off for its members. Upon receipt of a properly executed authorization card of the employee involved, the District will deduct from the employee's paycheck the dues that the employee has agreed to pay to the employee organization in six (6) equal installments, beginning with the first pay period in September.
Request for Dues Check Off. Pursuant to PELRA, the exclusive representative shall be allowed dues checkoff. Upon receipt by the District of data provided by Local 284 indicating which members have properly executed an authorization card, the District agrees to deduct during each payroll period an amount sufficient to provide the payment of dues established by Local No. 284 from the wages of all employees authorizing such deductions. Deductions shall be made and may be terminated in accordance with the provisions outlined on the dues authorization, as determined by Local No. 284. Local No. 284 will indemnify, defend, and hold the Board of Education harmless against any claims made and against any suits instituted against the Board of Education, its officers or employees, by reason of payroll deductions for dues.
Request for Dues Check Off. Pursuant to PELRA, the Exclusive Representative shall be allowed to request dues check-off. Upon receipt by the Superintendent or his/her de- signee of a properly executed authorization card of the employee involved, the District will de- duct from the employee’s paycheck the dues that the employee has agreed to pay to the exclu- sive representative. The authorization must be in writing and received by the District not less than two (2) weeks before the payday when it is to become effective. The District agrees to im- plement all of the terms of dues check-off authorizations submitted to the District by the exclu- sive representative and agreed to by the employee. The District shall adhere to the specific pro- visions in each dues check off authorization regarding the duration, renewal, procedure for revo- cation, amount of dues deducted, and all other provisions agreed to by the employee as stated in the authorization. When an exclusive representative member has so authorized a dues deduc- tion, such authorization cannot be canceled except during the week preceding October 1 each year. Cancellation must be in writing, and forwarded to the District within that week.
