Supplementary Annual Leave. (a) Members with 16 or more years of continuous service shall, in addition to the regular Annual Leave to which they are entitled under Section 11.1 "Annual Leave", be eligible to receive an additional 40 hours of supplementary Annual Leave each five years upon the commencement of their 16th, 21st, 26th, 31st, 36th and 41st years of continuous service.

Supplementary Annual Leave. Each member shall be entitled to 40 hours of supplementary annual leave, in addition to the annual leave to which the member is entitled pursuant to Section 8.1, upon commencing the member's sixteenth, twenty-first, twenty-sixth, thirty-first, thirty-sixth and forty-first calendar year of service.   • Additional Annual Leave (a) Shift Worker as defined by the Act An employee is entitled to accrue an additional amount of paid annual leave, for each completed 12 month period of continuous service with the employer, of 1/52 of the number of ordinary hours worked by the employee, for the employer, as a Shift Worker as defined by the Act during that 12 month period. The additional paid annual leave set out in this sub-clause is not cumulative upon the additional paid annual leave set out in the next sub-clause 21.6(b). The entitlement set out in this sub-clause shall only apply in the event that it provides a more favourable outcome for the employee and, if it does, then sub-clause 21.6(b) shall not apply.

  • Supplementary Vacation The supplementary vacations as set out below are to be banked on the outlined supplementary vacation employment anniversary date and taken at the employee’s option at any time subsequent to the current supplementary vacation employment anniversary date but prior to the next supplementary vacation employment anniversary date.

  • Taking Annual Leave (1) An employee may, on application approved by the Secretary, take annual leave in either of the following ways:

  • Annual Leave (a) An employee may elect with the consent of the employer, subject to the Annual Xxxxxxxx Xxx 0000, to take annual leave not exceeding five days in single day periods or part thereof, in any calendar year at a time or times agreed by the parties.

  • Payment of Annual Leave (a) If an employee takes annual leave during a period, the annual leave shall be paid at the employee’s ordinary pay immediately before the period begins.

  • Payment for annual leave (a) Before going on annual leave, an employee will be paid the amount of wages they would have received for ordinary time worked had they not been on leave during that period.

  • ANNUAL LEAVE (VACATION) A.   • Entitlement to Annual Leave For each year of service with the Employer a full-time or part-time Employee is entitled to four (4) weeks of paid annual leave.

  • Use of Annual Leave The Employer may, upon request of a practitioner and with sufficient cause being shown, which may in the circumstances be with little notice, grant that practitioner single days of annual leave for pressing personal emergencies.

  • Calculation of Annual Leave Pay Annual leave shall be paid at the employee’s ordinary weekly wage rate for ordinary hours for the period of annual leave (excluding shift allowances and weekend payments but including leading hand allowance); plus an amount equal to 17.5% of the amount
