Medical Services Plan definition

Medical Services Plan or "MSP" means the division of the Ministry of Health responsible for the administration and operation of the Medical Services Plan continued under the Medicare Protection Act;
Medical Services Plan. (MSP) means, as defined in Section 1 of the MPA, “the Medical Services Plan continued under Section 3 [of the MPA];”
Medical Services Plan. One hundred percent (100%) employer paid after twelve (12) months of employment.

  • Medical services means Medically Necessary services, including, as the context requires, Confinement, treatments, procedures, tests, examinations or other related services for the investigation or treatment of a Disability.

  • Medical service means any medical treatment or any medical, surgical, diagnostic, chiropractic, dental, hospital, nursing, ambulances, and other related services, and drugs, medicine, crutches and prosthetic appliances, braces and supports and where necessary, physical restorative services.

  • Emergency medical services provider means a person who has received formal training in prehospital and emergency care, and is licensed to attend any person who is ill or injured or who has a disability. Police officers, firefighters, funeral home employees and other persons serving in a dual capacity one of which meets the definition of “emergency medical services provider” are “emergency medical services providers” within the meaning of this chapter.

  • Emergency medical services or “EMS” means an integrated medical care delivery system to provide emergency and nonemergency medical care at the scene or during out-of-hospital patient transportation in an ambulance.

  • Emergency medical services personnel means that term as defined in section 20904 of the public health code, 1978 PA 368, MCL 333.20904.

  • Pharmacy services means the practice of pharmacy as defined in chapter 18.64 RCW and includes any drugs or devices as defined in chapter 18.64 RCW.

  • Local Services means those services, facilities or things which are under the jurisdiction of the municipality and are related to a plan of subdivision or within the area to which the plan relates in respect of the lands under Sections 41, 51 or 53 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 19990, Chap. P.13, as amended, or any successor thereof;

  • Company Services means any services (including but not limited to technical and product support, technical advice, underwriting and customer services) supplied by the Company or its Affiliates in the specialty property and/or casualty insurance business.

PRIMARY CARE PROVIDER (PCP) means, for the purpose of this plan, professional providers that are family practitioners, internists, and pediatricians.   • Hospice services means palliative and supportive care and other services provided by an interdisciplinary team under the direction of an identifiable hospice administration to terminally ill hospice patients and their families to meet the physical, nutritional, emotional, social, spiritual, and special needs experienced during the final stages of illness, dying, and bereavement, as defined in Minnesota Statutes, § 144A.75, subd. 8, and includes the set of services as determined by the Medicare program under §1861(dd) of the Social Security Act and defined in 42 CFR § 418.3.

  • Professional Services Agreement means the agreement attached hereto as Exhibit C and all written statements of work signed by Licensee and related thereto.

  • Diagnostic Services means services provided for the purpose of determining the nature and cause of a condition, ill- ness, or injury.
