  • STATUTORY HOLIDAYS 12.01 The following holidays shall be recognized as legal holidays: New Year’s Day Labour Day Good Friday Thanksgiving Day Victoria Day Christmas Day Dominion Day Boxing Day Civic Holiday

  • 000 STATUTORY HOLIDAYS 18.100 The following days will constitute the recognized holidays within the terms of this agreement. Any other holiday proclaimed by either the Provincial or Federal Government will be automatically recognized within this Agreement.

  • STATUTORY HOLIDAYS AND VACATIONS If statutory holidays, to which an employee is entitled with pay, occur within his or her vacation period, the employee shall be granted an additional day's vacation for each in lieu thereof.

  • Annual Leave Exclusive of Public Holidays The period of annual leave prescribed by this clause is exclusive of any public holidays, and if any such holiday falls within an employee’s period of annual leave and is observed on a day which in the case of that employee would have been an ordinary working day, there will be added to the period of annual leave time equivalent to the ordinary time which the employee would have worked if such day had not been a holiday.

  • Annual Leave (a) An employee may elect with the consent of the employer, subject to the Annual Xxxxxxxx Xxx 0000, to take annual leave not exceeding five days in single day periods or part thereof, in any calendar year at a time or times agreed by the parties.

  • Religious Holiday Leave An employee may use two (2) sick days for religious observances if he/she has no personal business leave days. When an employee requests the use of this leave for days not known to be a religious holiday, the Board may request documentation.

  • Overtime Holidays Double time the regular rate for work on the following holiday(s). New Year's Day

  • Statutory Holiday All time worked on such Statutory Holidays as are provided for in this Agreement shall be considered as overtime and shall be paid at two hundred percent (200%) of the employee's regular straight-time rate, or the employee may elect to be paid straight-time rates for the overtime hours and take an equal number of hours as time off. Such time off must be taken according to a schedule acceptable to the employee's Supervisor within thirty (30) days of the end of the pay period in which the overtime was worked.

  • ANNUAL LEAVE (VACATION) A. Full time employees, except for participants in the Deferred Retirement Option Program, shall be entitled to earn Annual Leave (Vacation) time according to the following schedule: YEARS OF CONSECUTIVE SERVICE COMPLETED: DAYS EARNED PER BI-WEEKLY PERIOD: UP TO AN ANNUAL MAXIMUM OF: less than 5 .38 10 days 5 .57 15 days 10 .65 17 days 13 .77 20 days 20 .80 21 days 21 .84 22 days 22 .88 23 days 23 .92 24 days 24 .96 25 days B.   • Public Holidays 11.1 The following days are public holidays: New Year's Day, Australia Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday, Anzac Day, Christmas Day and Boxing Day, and any other gazetted public holidays in the relevant state or territory in which the work is being performed, other than:
