Payment of Leave. For the purposes of Part 6 of this Agreement, the rate of payment for paid leave will be the rate the employee would have received had the employee attended for work.

Payment of Leave. An employee who is terminated or laid off shall be compensated for his/her accrued and unused leave. In the event of death, payment of vacation leave in lieu of holiday leave and compensatory time accruals, shall be made to the surviving spouse, and if there is none, then to the employee’s estate.
