GENERAL HOLIDAY. DURING VACATION When a general holiday falls within an employee's scheduled vacation, he shall receive the pay of a normal shift for the holiday in addition to his vacation pay, or a day off with pay in conjunction with his vacation.

GENERAL HOLIDAY. SATURDAY & SUNDAY When a General Holiday falls on a Saturday or on a Sunday or on an employee’s weekly day off then the next work day shall be observed as the Holiday. If Christmas Day and Boxing Day fall on a Saturday and on a Sunday, respectively, or on an employee’s weekly days off, then the next two (2) work days shall be observed as holidays.
GENERAL HOLIDAY. A) Whenever any holiday specified by State Law falls on Saturday, the preceding Friday shall be the holiday. Employees who work Friday in such case shall be paid according to City Code Section 2.40.080, Subsection E. Whenever any holiday specified by State law falls on Sunday, the following Monday shall be the holiday. Employees who work Monday in such case shall be paid according to City Code Section 2.40.080, Subsection E.
GENERAL HOLIDAY. During a week in which a general holiday occurs, the regular hours of work for employees shall be reduced in accordance with the Code. Lunch Break Hourly rated employees shall be scheduled an unpaid half-hour lunch period between the fourth and sixth hour during their shift. Pay When an employee reports for work as scheduled or is called back to work hours in excess of his regular hours, he shall be paid a minimum of four (4) hours pay.
GENERAL HOLIDAY. A part time employee shall not be eligible for General Holiday pay unless he meets the eligibility requirements set out in Article 19.03 (a), and the General Holiday falls not later than two (2) calendar days after his last regularly scheduled shift and not more than two (2) calendar days before his next regularly scheduled shift.
