HOLIDAYS WITH PAY. Employees shall be entitled to holidays with pay in accordance with the provisions of this article.
HOLIDAYS WITH PAY. 7.01 I) Employees shall be paid without the performance of work for the following holidays, at their regular rate of pay: New Year's Day Civic Holiday January 2nd (1st Monday in Aug.) Good Friday Labour Day Victoria Day Thanksgiving Day Canada Day Christmas day Boxing Day

HOLIDAYS WITH PAY. 7.01Employees who qualify under Section 12.02 shall be paid without the performance of work for the following holidays: New Year's Day, Good Friday, Victoria Day, Dominion Day, Civic Holiday, Labour Day, Thanksgiving Day, Remembrance Day, Christmas Day and Boxing Day. When any of the above holidays fall on Saturday, it shall be observed on the preceding Friday, and if the holiday falls on Sunday, it will be observed on the following Monday. Employees who have accumulated one hundred and twenty (120) days seniority will be granted two (2) floating holidays per year. Such holidays will be taken at a time satisfactory to the employee and the supervisor. An employee who by reason of lay-off is prevented from taking their floating holidays shall receive pay in lieu of such holidays. If an employee has any floating holidays remaining on December 1st, the employee may elect to take pay in lieu of time off.
HOLIDAYS WITH PAY. 18.01 The following days will be observed as paid holidays for employees: New Year's Day Labour Day Xxxxx Xxxx Day Thanksgiving Day Good Friday Remembrance Day Victoria Day Christmas Day Canada Day Boxing Day Civic Holiday (1ST Monday in August) If, during the life of this Agreement, a holiday should be declared by government which is not listed above and which is to be generally observed in the Province of Manitoba, such holiday shall be observed and paid by the Company under the same terms and conditions as apply to the holidays which are listed above.
HOLIDAYS WITH PAY. 5.01 Employees who qualify under Section 4.02 shall be paid without the performance of work for the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Good Friday, Canada Day, Labour Day, Christmas Day and Boxing Day. When any of the above holidays fall on Saturday, it shall be observed on the preceding Friday, and if the holiday falls on Sunday, it will be observed on the following Monday. Employees who have accumulated one hundred and twenty (120) days seniority will be granted two (2) floating holidays per year. In addition to the above, on January 1 of the current calendar year, an employee who works 6 months or more in the previous calendar year will be entitled to four (4) additional Floating Holidays. Such holidays will be taken at a time satisfactory to the employee and his supervisor. An employee, who by reason of lay-off is prevented from taking his Floating Holidays shall receive pay in lieu of such holidays. For those employees who would be scheduled to work on a statutory holiday, holiday pay will be based on each employee’s normal schedule. Those employees not scheduled to work will receive pay as defined in the Collective Agreement.

(a) All employees other than relief employees (as defined) shall be entitled to the following holidays without deduction from their wages: New Year's Day, Australia Day, Hobart Regatta Day (South of Oatlands), Labour Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday, Easter Tuesday, ANZAC Day, Queen's Birthday, Show Day (as defined), Recreation Day (where Hobart Regatta Day is not observed), Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

An employee who by reason of lay-off is prevented from taking his floating holiday shall receive pay in lieu of such holiday, during the current year.

An employee, who qualifies under Article XII, Section who works any of the available work days within the thirty day period immediately prior to the holiday and does not leave work sooner than two days before the holiday, and is ready for work on the morning of the second day after the holiday, unless his return to work on time is prevented by circumstances beyond his control, shall receive pay for the holiday unless he quits during the thirty day period immediately prior to the holiday. An employee, who desires to leave prior to the holiday and is ready for work for the second day following the holiday, shall make reasonable arrangements with the Company prior to leaving, unless other arrangements have been agreed to between the Company and Union either at Camp level or at Management level. If an employee, who qualifies under Section and who works any of the available work days within the thirty days immediately prior to the holiday, is on leave of absence other than as provided in when the holiday occurs, he shall receive holiday pay for the first holiday that occurs during his absence, provided he returns to work on time, unless his return to work on time is prevented by circumstances beyond his control. An employee, who qualifies under Section who is obliged to cease work due to a lay-off during the thirty day period immediately prior to the holiday, shall receive holiday pay for the holiday(s) within such day period. HOLIDAYS WITH PAY. A. The holiday schedule for each contract year shall provide for no less than eighteen (18) days.
