End of School Year. Employees may continue to work during the two week period between the end of the school year and the start of the summer program.
End of School Year. Vacation may be used by school year employees, not to exceed the equivalent of five (5) work days (normally assigned hours per day), with the approval of the building principal, department head, or program manager after the end of the regularly scheduled work year and before June 30. This provision does not apply during the period worked in a summer school assignment. Vacation and sick leave will not be earned during this period of time.

End of School Year. When an industrial accident or illness leave overlaps the next fiscal year, the teacher shall be entitled to only the amount of unused leave due him/her for the same illness or injury.

End of School Year. At the end of the school year, students potentially may return their chromebook. Failure to return the chromebook will result in the student being charged full replacement cost. Unpaid student fees for students leaving Brandywine School District will be turned over to a collection agency. The district may also file a report of stolen property with local law enforcement agency. Transferring/Withdrawing Students Students transferring or withdrawing from BSD must return their chromebook to the school office on their last attendance day. Failure to return the chromebook will result in the guardian being charged full replacement cost. Unpaid student fees for withdrawn students will be turned over to a collection agency. The district may also file a report of stolen property with local law enforcement agency. Caring for your Chromebook Students are responsible for the general care of their chromebook issued by Brandywine School District. Chromebooks that are broken or fail to operate must be exchanged in the school office or a designated location communicated by the principal. Students should never leave their chromebook unattended at school.
End of School Year. In the event a grievance is filed on or after June lst, which, if left unresolved until the beginning of the following school year, could result in irreparable harm to a party in interest, the parties agree to make a good faith effort to reduce the time limits set forth herein so that the grievance procedure may be exhausted prior to the school term or as soon thereafter as is practicable.

End of School Year. 12.07.01 Effective September 2010, the last working day of the school year in June will be a Professional Activity Day for teachers to use for routine in-school year end responsibilities.
