The Employer and the Union agree to encourage employees to take maximum advantage of training and education opportunities which will add to the skills and qualifications needed to increase their efficiency.

EMPLOYER AND EMPLOYEE RESPONSIBILITIES. 2.2.1 You must exercise reasonable care and diligence in the performance of your duties under this Agreement and comply with all our reasonable instructions to protect your own health and safety and that of others.
EMPLOYER AND EMPLOYEE RESPONSIBILITIES. The Employer shall provide all Employees as per Clause 18 of this Agreement with hours of work per week as per Clause 5 of this Agreement. The Employee shall provide the Employer with their labour for those hours so worked. Where the standard of the labour being provided is deemed by the Employer to be unacceptable, the Employer shall, in the first instance, seek to resolve the matter via informal discussion. Should this discussion not result in an improvement in the standard, then the Employer shall have recourse to Employer’s formal Counselling Procedures to remedy the matter. Should these procedures not result in an improvement in standards the Employer can undertake remedial steps allowed for under law, up to and including the dismissal of the Employee.
EMPLOYER AND EMPLOYEE RESPONSIBILITIES. You must exercise reasonable care and diligence in the performance of your duties under this Agreement and comply with all our reasonable instructions to protect your own health and safety and that of others. We will provide you with any necessary protective and safety clothing or equipment. You must use protective and safety clothing and equipment in accordance with our requirements and consistent with your obligations. You must not at any time whilst on duty possess alcohol or alcoholic substances, or any other substance that impairs or is likely to impair your ability to carry out your duties under this Agreement, at any time at your place of work or on or in any property (including vehicles) owned or used by us. You must not at any time before commencing duty consume alcohol or alcoholic substances, or any other substance that impairs or is likely to impair your ability to carry out your duties whilst on duty. You must advise the employer of any medication (prescribed or otherwise) which you are taking while at your place of work and which may in any way affect the performance of your duties. We may require you at any time for a reasonable cause (or any potential new employee), to attend a Doctor for a full medical examination.
EMPLOYER AND EMPLOYEE RESPONSIBILITIES. 2.1.1 The Employer is responsible for the development of policies and procedures regarding the way work is to be performed by Employees and regarding terms and conditions of employment. The Employer is also responsible for the communication and distribution of these policies and procedures to employees.
EMPLOYER AND EMPLOYEE RESPONSIBILITIES. The employer and employee agree that the business has special needs relating to its size, and the employer and employee need to be reasonable and flexible in their conduct. The employer agrees to provide a safe, clean and hygienic workplace and the necessary equipment for the work required of the employee. The employee agrees to perform all duties and responsibilities diligently and faithfully and to carry out all lawful directions according to the job description as may be varied and any other duties the employer may reasonably require, provided that these duties are consistent with the nature of the role. Employees must be willing and able to comply with the work practices set out below.

  • Employee Responsibilities 1. Employees are responsible for notifying their department of an absence prior to the commencement of their work shift or as soon thereafter as possible. Notification shall include the reason and possible duration of the absence.

  • Employee Responsibility Each employee is responsible for the care and maintenance of such equipment. The Company retains the right to inspect the equipment at any time and to require the employee to provide an accounting of any loss or abuse.

  • Employer Responsibilities Recognizing the inherent risk(s) in a correctional setting, the Employer is obligated to provide a safe workplace and to educate employees on proper safety procedures and use of protective and safety equipment. The Employer is committed to responding to legitimate safety concerns raised by the Union and employees. The Employer will comply with federal and state safety standards, including requirements relating to first aid training, first aid equipment and the use of protective devices and equipment.

  • EMPLOYEE RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. In addition to others identified herein, employees affected by these procedures shall have the following rights:

  • Employee’s Responsibility WORK START TIME Employees shall be in their respective assigned working locations, ready to commence work at their designated starting times, and they shall not leave their working locations at times or in a manner inconsistent with the terms of this Agreement.
