Annual Assessments. The School’s student performance will be annually assessed as described in the School’s Approved Application (Appendix 1), in this Charter, and as specified in applicable laws and rules. The School will annually implement its educational program as specified in the School’s Approved Application (Appendix 1) setting forth the School’s curriculum, instructional methods, any distinctive instructional techniques to be used, and the identification and acquisition of appropriate technologies needed to improve educational and administrative performance, which include a means for promoting safe, ethical, and appropriate uses of technology which comply with legal and professional standards. The School shall ensure in each year that reading is a primary focus of the curriculum and the necessary resources will be provided to identify and to provide specialized instruction for students who are reading below grade level. The School’s annual curriculum shall be consistent with Florida Standards and be grounded in evidence-based reading research. The School further agrees that its programs and operations shall be nonsectarian each year.

Annual Assessments. The Board will fix the annual assessments each year following adoption or rejection of the budget as provided above. The Board will send written notice of the assessment to all Owners. In the event the proposed budget is rejected or in the event the Board fails to fix the amount or give notice of the new assessment, the assessments fixed for the preceding year will continue until new assessments are fixed and notice given. The annual assessments may be made payable on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis, as determined by the Board.
Annual Assessments i. Purpose. Assessments levied by the Organization shall be used for any legal purpose for the benefit of the Subdivision as determined by the Board and, in particular, may, by way of example and not limitation or obligation, include operational expenses of the Organization, enforcement of deed restrictions, payment of insurance premiums, costs of collection and litigation, administrative expenses, beautification, providing security, and any other services as may be in the Subdivision’s and Owners’ interest and all buildings, services, improvements and facilities deemed necessary or desirable by the Board in connection with the administration, management, control or operation of the Subdivision.
