00 - UNION SECURITY. 10:01 It is agreed and understood by the Parties hereto that there shall be a compulsory check-off upon all Employees who come within the Unit to which this Agreement applies, and it shall continue during the period of this Contract.
00 - UNION SECURITY. 25.01 The Corporation agrees, during the term of this Agreement to deduct from the pay of all employees in the bargaining unit, an amount equal to the regular monthly dues, as certified by the Union, and to remit the same prior to the end of such month to the Secretary-Treasurer of the Union, along with a list of names of employees from whose wages deductions have been made, the amounts so deducted and a total of all regular wages paid to bargaining unit employees exclusive of fringe benefits. 00 - UNION SECURITY. 5.01 Membership Effective - The employer agrees that the employees covered by Appendix "A" of this Agreement, as a condition of employment, shall be or become, a member in good standing of the union.
00 - UNION SECURITY. 3:01 Employee Requests - When employees are required, the employer shall request the union to furnish competent and qualified workers and the union shall supply, when available, competent and qualified workers as requested. Preferences will be given to union members from the local geographical area who possess the necessary skills and qualifications.
00 - UNION SECURITY. 3-1.01 Any employee who is a member of the Union on the date of coming into force of the collective agreement and any one who later becomes a member will have to, as a condition of maintaining their position, continue their membership in the Union for the duration of the collective agreement.
00 - UNION SECURITY. 2.01(a) (i) The Employer shall during the term of this agreement as a condition of employment deduct from members of the bargaining unit, the regular weekly union dues and such union dues shall be remitted to the Union, in the format outlined in Article 2.01 (b) below, prior to the fifteenth (15th) of the month following the month in which such deduction is made.
00 - UNION SECURITY. 4.01 The Union’s Chief Xxxxxxx or his designate shall have an opportunity to meet with new employees within their first four shifts to provide Union orientation. This meeting shall not exceed 15 minutes.
00 - UNION SECURITY. 3.01 All employees of the Company shall be required, as a condition of continued employment, to become and remain members of the Union.
00 - UNION SECURITY. 5.01 The Company agrees that all employees covered by this Agreement, except new employees during their probationary period, shall as a condition of employment become and remain members of the Union in good standing.
00 - UNION SECURITY. 4:01 The Company has the right to select and hire all new employees. The Company agrees to notify the Union forty-eight (48) hours in advance of any vacancy in the bargaining unit, which may be filled from outside the bargaining unit, in order to provide the Union with an opportunity to dispatch suitable applicants.
