Use of State Facilities Resources and Equipment a. Meeting Space and Facilities. The Employer’s campuses and facilities may be used by the Union to hold meetings subject to the University’s policy and availability of the space. The Employer may provide private space for stewards and/or Union representatives to meet in confidence with those they represent on a space available basis. Staff representatives may reserve and utilize meeting rooms in accordance with University policy and procedure. Such requests will be subject to availability and all applicable fees.

Meeting Space and Facilities At institutions that have a muster, a Business Representative with one (1) day’s written notice to the Superintendent or Designee may present information a maximum of once per month for each shift. The presentation will begin five (5) minutes prior to muster and will not exceed ten (10) minutes in length. The Shift Commander reserves the right to terminate the presentation in order to complete the muster in a timely fashion. The Employer will make its offices and facilities available to the Union to hold meetings at mutually agreeable times with authorization of the Appointing Authority or designee.
