Examples of Superintendent or designee in a sentence
The Superintendent or designee has the right to require employee verification of the use of personal necessity leave per Education Code section 44981.
If the grievant is not satisfied with the decision at Step 1, the employee may, within ten (10) days, appeal the decision on appropriate District form to the Superintendent or designee.
Notice of suspension will be in writing and served in person or by certified mail upon the unit member by the Superintendent or designee.
The appeal shall be in writing and state the reason or reasons why the decision of the Superintendent or designee was not satisfactory.

No later than five (5) working days after the receipt of the Supervisor’s response, the Association Representative may submit the grievance in writing to the Superintendent or designee stating the remedy or correction requested, plus the facts upon which the grievance is based and the alleged contract and/or Board policy/regulation violation.
The Superintendent, or designee, shall give a member written notice of intent to recommend disciplinary action to the Board.
Any employee subject to a District-initiated transfer shall receive a notification including explanation of the reasons for the transfer from the District Superintendent or designee.
All requests must be made at least two (2) weeks prior to the leave, if possible, at the Board of Education offices with the Superintendent or designee.
