Successful Applicants. The University will inform schools of successful applicants in November, along with information of exact event dates that the school’s cohort has been allocated. A copy of the Code of Conduct and medical consent form will also be sent to the school at this point for information. • Events: The University will be responsible for the administration, planning, organisation, delivery and evaluation of all Discover US activities & events. • Risk Assessments: Risk assessments are carried out for all activities and there will be an appropriate ratio of staff to pupils, but university staff would not be expected to discipline pupils attending events. It is the school’s responsibility to send us, at least two weeks in advance, any internal school documents (such as provider assurance forms) that are required to be completed by the University. • Event Information: A copy of the programme, risk assessment and travel information will be sent to schools prior to each event. Participants and parents will receive a copy of the programme, travel information and a reply slip to be returned or details of an electronic form of attendance confirmation. • Attendance: Pupils are not taken out of school more than the published activity level for each academic year to avoid disturbances to their studies. Pupils and parents will have the opportunity to inform the university if they cannot attend one of the scheduled events, this information will be shared with the school. Schools are also informed of any unaccounted absences, accidents or unsuitable behaviour after the event. •

Context: The ICC is a Not-for-Profit organisation with 108 members spread across five continents. The ICC’s purpose is ‘Inspiring and empowering people and communities through cricket.’The ICC’s strategy identifies six key strategic priority projects, including ‘bringing about a transformative growth in participation’ and ‘accelerating the growth of women’s cricket’. The ICC has adopted the social impact cause of “empowering women and girls through cricket”. The Cricket 4 Good brand is the ICC’s primary vehicle to fulfil its social responsibility.The ICC, though its subsidiary IBC, delivers three global events per year, plus a World Test Championship final every two years. The full list of ICC Events is specified in Schedule H. In addition, IBC will also deliver 112 pathway events in the period 2024 - 2027. Cricket has been included in the LA2028 Olympics.
