Representatives’ Training Courses. When operational requirements permit, the Employer will grant leave without pay to employees who exercise the authority of a representative on behalf of the Association to undertake training related to the duties of a representative.

Reimbursement by the Union An employee granted leave under clause shall continue to receive his or her regular salary for the period of leave granted, subject to the Union reimbursing the Company for all associated costs. Notice Requirements Leave with or without pay for purposes described in this Article shall be requested in writing to the Company as far in advance as possible of the date leave is to commence, but normally not less than fifteen (15) calendar days in advance.
