Vacation During the School Year. 673 For any year in which a regular part-time employee is absent five or fewer days for any reason other 674 than FMLA leave, the employee will be allowed to use two of his or her accumulated vacation days 675 during the following school year or any subsequent year. Employees may accumulate up to five such 676 days. Vacation days taken under this provision must be scheduled with the employee’s supervisor and 677 shall be not counted as an absence for purposes of this section. 678

Vacation During the School Year. The Ottawa Catholic School Board (OCSB) and UNITE HERE Local 272 agree that it is of benefit to both parties to allow employees to take vacation throughout the school year so long as it is cost neutral to the Board. The parties agree to this pilot program beginning on September 1, 2012, and expiring on August 31, 2014. Employees with five years of service (5) or more are entitled to take a maximum of five (5) days of accumulated annual leave during the school year. Such request will not be unreasonably withheld. At minimal cost to the employer, the following practice will be applied: a maximum of one caretaker per high school could be off on annual leave without replacement. High school custodial staff shall not be reduced in order to staff elementary school vacation coverage when elementary staff are away on approved vacation leave during the school year. This leave request is to be submitted to the Manager of Maintenance & Operations for approval. During this period, the System Floaters may be used for elementary annual leave replacement. The parties further agree to meet prior to the expiration of this collective agreement to review the program.   • Employee Leaving During the Notice Period If the employment of an employee is terminated (other than for misconduct) before the notice period expires, the employee shall be entitled to the same benefits and payments under this clause had the employee remained with the employer until the expiry of such notice. Provided that in such circumstance the employee shall not be entitled to payment in lieu of notice.

  • Time Off During Notice Period During the period of notice of termination given by the employer, an employee shall be allowed up to one day's time off without loss of pay for the purpose of seeking other employment. This time off shall be taken at times that are convenient to the employee after consultation with the employer.

  • Employee leaving during notice period An employee given notice of termination in circumstances of redundancy may terminate their employment during the period of notice. The employee is entitled to receive the benefits and payments they would have received under this clause had they remained in employment until the expiry of the notice, but is not entitled to any payment in lieu of any remaining notice.

  • Drawings Submitted During the Contract Term Where required to develop, maintain and deliver diagrams or other technical schematics regarding the scope of work, Contractor shall do so on an ongoing basis at no additional charge, and must, as a condition of payment, update drawings and plans during the Contract term to reflect additions, alterations, and deletions. Such drawings and diagrams shall be delivered to the Authorized User’s representative.

  • Employee Leaving During Notice An employee whose employment is to be terminated for reasons set out in this clause may terminate employment during the period of notice and, if so, shall be entitled to the same benefits and payments under this clause had the employee remained with the employer until the expiry of such notice. This is with the provision that in such circumstances the employee shall not be entitled to payment instead of notice.

  • Union Activity During Working Hours The Employer and the Union recognize that union representatives and stewards play an important role in effectuating the terms of this Agreement; however, both parties acknowledge that the duties undertaken as a union representative or xxxxxxx are in addition to the their job assignments.
