Employee leaving during notice period. An employee given notice of termination in circumstances of redundancy may terminate their employment during the period of notice. Where an employee does not give the appropriate notice, and there is no agreement to reduce or waive the notice period, the College may withhold from salaries and allowances such payment of up to one (1) week’s wages, which has been authorised by the employee and is reasonable in the circumstances.
