Leave Replacement. Faculty may be appointed to replace a tenured faculty member on approved leave for the duration of the leave under the terms described in section e below. (See also 5.12) This section does not pertain to faculty whose positions are nontenurable under RCW 28B.50.851(2)(b).
Leave Replacement a substitute for an employee who is on an approved, contractual leave of more than thirty (30) consecutive work days. A leave replacement employee shall receive full salary, retroactive to the first day of the position, and benefits beginning the thirtieth (30th) work day.
Leave Replacement. A position filled to replace an employee who has been granted a board approved leave lasting longer than thirty (30) consecutive workdays or was converted from a substitute position, because it extended beyond sixty (60) working days.
Leave Replacement. Leave replacement teachers shall be placed on the teacher salary schedule (Appendix A) in accordance with Section 2 of this Article.
Leave Replacement. In the event a leave replacement is not available on a rural route, the installation head will make every reasonable effort to secure a leave replacement.

Leave Replacement. A. A leave replacement employee is one who is hired to replace a regular employee who is on an approved leave of absence. The leave replacement employee shall receive the same benefits as a regular employee.
Leave Replacement. During the health leave (10.2 C & D), where applicable, the Board shall assign a temporary replacement for the administrator. While on leave, an administrator will maintain full seniority status, or its equivalent, and all applicable employment rights held before the leave was taken.
