Training Instructor. Positions involving the training of Bargaining Unit employees may be offered for up to an accumulated total of seventy-five (75) working days per employee in any calendar year. The availability of such assignments will be posted and will outline the particulars of the assignment including the date(s), hours and travel which would be involved. Selection according to Article 8.01 will be from the base in which the training will be taking place or, if the position will involve training in a number of bases, will be system-wide. The Company will assess the ability of the employee who accepts the assignment to do the job during an appropriate trial period not to exceed 10 working days in a functional trainer/facilitator capacity. Employees who accept an assignment will be subject to having their shift schedule revised in order to satisfy the training schedule but such revisions will be subject to the provisions of Articles 6.05.03 and 6.05.04. Where the employee accepts an assignment outside of their regular base, the employee will receive expenses and allowances as described in Article 19.06 and travel to and from the assignment will be in accordance with Article 8.04. The employee involved and the Union District Chairperson will be advised in writing of any assignment under this Article.

Training Instructor. An employee covered by this Agreement, who is assigned by the Chief of Police or his designee to instruct training shall receive two (2) hours overtime for each day spent in instruction in addition to their regular rate of pay.

Training Instructor. For each hour worked as a Training Instructor, an additional $2.00 per hour will be paid in addition to the regular hourly rate for the length of the scheduled shift.

  • Instructor Associated with the position of Instructor is a nominal workload of 195 hours per half-credit course. This nominal workload is normally made up of scheduled contact time with students and non-classroom time. The non-classroom time is made up of preparation of lectures, student consultation, marking or grading and course administration, including grade appeals and cases of academic dishonesty. In the case of a two-hour lecture per week, or the equivalent of a two-hour lecture per week, the incumbent shall also be responsible for the first hour of seminar in each course.   • Instructors 7.1 All instructors teaching Xxxxxx College courses offered as part of this CCAP Agreement must meet the minimum qualifications for instruction in a California community college as set forth in Title 5 California Code of Regulations, Sections 53410 and 58060 or as amended, and be hired by the CLPCCD.

  • Training Pay City shall pay one and one-half times regular salary rate for training required by the Police and Peace Officers Licensing Law which is taken outside of regular duty hours (approximately 48 hours every three years). The Chief will establish the type and amount of training required.

  • Training and Promotion a. The contractor will assist in locating, qualifying, and increasing the skills of minorities and women who are applicants for employment or current employees. Such efforts should be aimed at developing full journey level status employees in the type of trade or job classification involved.
