Traffic Violations. The Hirer is responsible for violations and insurance liabilities due to unsafe or incorrect driving, parking or maintaining the Van in an un-roadworthy condition.
Traffic Violations. Fines for parking or moving violations, towing storage or impoundment are the personal responsibility of the assigned operator. The company will not condone nor excuse ignorance of any motor vehicle violations that result in court summons being directed to itself as owner of the vehicle. Each driver is required to report all moving violations to the company within 24 hours. This requirement applies to violations involving the use of any vehicle (company, personal or other) while on company business. Failure to report violations will result in appropriate disciplinary action, including revoking of driver privileges and possible termination of employment. Please be aware that motor vehicle violations incurred during non-business (personal use) hours will also affect your driving status as well and are subject to review.

An Employee who is charged with an offence under the Traffic Act, while operating a City vehicle, will be granted necessary time off without loss of seniority or benefits to defend him/herself against the charge in court. In the event that the Employee has the charges cleared by the court, the Employer, at its sole discretion, may reimburse payment for loss of time incurred while defending him/herself in court.

The Company will accept financial responsibility in those cases where it determines that the cause of the violation was due to the vehicle and not due to any culpable conduct on the part of the employee.
Traffic Violations a) Where a driver or an Owner/Operator gets a parking ticket by reason of having followed the instructions of the Company, the Company shall be responsible for such a parking ticket. In such a case, the employee must either remit the parking ticket to the Company the same day it was issued or pay such ticket within the delays required and subsequently obtain reimbursement from the Company. Tickets which are not remitted to the Company on the same day of issuance or which are not paid within the delays required by the employee who retained the said ticket shall become the sole responsibility of the employee.
b) Contraventions or violations of other laws or regulations occurring while the vehicle is in motion will be the sole responsibility of the driver or an Owner/Operator. Such violations include but are not limited to speeding, failure to stop at a traffic light or stop sign, illegal turns, careless, dangerous or otherwise inappropriate driving, hit and run, criminal negligence, etc.

Traffic Violations. 12.1 You are responsible for any traffic violations incurred due to Your inappropriate use of a Zing Car vehicle. This includes, but is not limited to: unauthorised parking, excess speeding, breaking red light, photo enforcement, and toll violations. You are solely liable for all costs imposed due to any such violation during the concurrence of Your trip/ride/booking, including fines for late payment and any processing fees added by the respective regulatory authority. You are liable for payment of all tolls and any fines for toll evasion. You must report such violations to a Zing Car representative, as soon as possible, within the prescribed timeline for the violation (for example, if the case is being taken to court). Zing Car will notify the Member immediately by e-mail after it comes to know about any of such violation and Member shall forthwith pay the relevant fine/s to the authority concerned and provide Zing Car with the proof of such payment, failing which Zing Car will pay those amounts and Member shall reimburse the same to Zing Car at earliest. However, where Member has personal knowledge of such violations, Zing Car will not be obligated to provide Member with the notification as above, but Member’s obligation to pay the relevant fine/s and notifying Zing Car of such compliance will continue as aforementioned.
12.2 You must notify Zing Car of any traffic violation notices found on a vehicle at the time of vehicle pick up.
12.3 You must not leave a vehicle in a zone which has parking restrictions. If You leave the vehicle in such a restricted zone, You must immediately notify Zing Car, and You will be responsible for any and all violation notices or towing charges incurred by Zing Car. Additionally, financial penalties will be levied against You for any inconvenience caused to other Zing Car member if the vehicle is unavailable for its scheduled reservation because of such parking violations as set out in the fee policy on the website i.e. xxx.xxxxxxx.xx
Traffic Violations. The Employer shall not be liable for any moving violation related to the employee’s operation of a vehicle in connection with the employee’s work for the Employer. Except in exceptional circumstances, the Employer shall not be liable for parking tickets related to the employee’s work for the Employer. If an employee believes they received a parking ticket as a result of a work-related emergency, the employee shall notify the Employer promptly and the Employer will review circumstances and determine possible payment.
