Taxes and Benefits. Contractor is responsible for all federal or state taxes applicable to compensation or payments paid to Contractor under this Contract and, unless required by applicable law, Agency will not withhold from such compensation or payments any amount to cover Contractor's federal or state tax obligations. Contractor is not eligible for any social security, unemployment insurance or workers' compensation benefits from compensation or payments paid to Contractor under this Contract, except as a self-employed individual.

Taxes and Benefits. Freelancer acknowledges and agrees that Freelancer is solely responsible (a) for all tax liability associated with payments received from Freelancer’s Clients and through Upwork, and that Upwork will not withhold any taxes from payments to Freelancer; (b) to obtain any liability, health, workers’ compensation, disability, unemployment, or other insurance needed, desired, or required by law, and that Freelancer is not covered by or eligible for any insurance from Upwork; (c) for determining whether Freelancer is required by applicable law to issue any particular invoices for the Freelancer Fees and for issuing any invoices so required; (d) for determining whether Freelancer is required by applicable law to remit to the appropriate authorities any value added tax or any other taxes or similar charges applicable to the Freelancer Fees and remitting any such taxes or charges to the appropriate authorities, as appropriate; and (e) if outside of the United States, for determining if Upwork is required by applicable law to withhold any amount of the Freelancer Fees and for notifying Upwork of any such requirement and indemnifying Upwork for any requirement to pay any withholding amount to the appropriate authorities (including penalties and interest). In the event of an audit of Upwork, Freelancer agrees to promptly cooperate with Upwork and provide copies of Freelancer’s tax returns and other documents as may be reasonably requested for purposes of such audit, including but not limited to records showing Freelancer is engaging in an independent business as represented to Upwork.
Taxes and Benefits. Consultant has full and exclusive liability for the payment of, and Consultant will pay, any and all taxes and contributions for unemployment insurance, retirement benefits, workers’ compensation insurance or benefits, life insurance, pensions, annuities and similar benefits and any other employment-related costs, obligations, and duties that may now or hereafter be imposed by law, collective bargaining agreements or otherwise with respect to persons employed by Consultant for the performance of Services pursuant to this Agreement.

Contractor acknowledges that no insurance whatsoever, including Worker’s Compensation Insurance has been or will be obtained by the Company on behalf of Contractor or his agents, contractors or employees.
Taxes and Benefits. Owner is exempt from and shall not be responsible to pay, or reimburse Contractor for, any state or local sales, use, or excise taxes. The Contract Price includes all other applicable federal, state, and local taxes of every kind and nature applicable to the Work as well as all taxes, contributions, and premiums for unemployment insurance, old age or retirement benefits, pensions, annuities, or other similar benefits. All claim or right to claim additional compensation by reason of the payment of any such tax, contribution, or premium is hereby waived and released by Contractor.

Taxes and Benefits. AYSO shall not be responsible for withholding taxes with respect to the Provider’s payments or otherwise providing for vacation pay, sick leave, retirement benefits, social security, Workers’ Compensation, health or disability benefits or unemployment insurance benefits of any kind with respect to this Agreement. Provider shall be responsible for the withholding and payment of all income, social security, unemployment and any other taxes of Provider’s employees, if any, and shall responsible for the payment of any insurance, unemployment, worker’s compensation and all other benefits of Provider’s employees.
Taxes and Benefits. Consultant shall be responsible for and agrees to pay when due, all taxes, including but not limited to income tax, self-employment tax, Social Security and withholding taxes on any fees Consultant receives for the Services. As a result of this Agreement and providing Services hereunder, Consultant shall not be entitled to receive any benefits from SES, including but not limited to: overtime compensation, worker’s compensation, unemployment compensation, medical insurance, life insurance, paid vacations, paid holidays, pension, profit sharing or Social Security.
Taxes and Benefits. Independent Contractor shall be responsible for his/her own taxes and liability insurance. Independent Contractor is not entitled to receive any sick leave, vacation, retirement, health benefits, unemployment insurance, or other benefits from the Associations.
