Tax Liability Sample Clauses

The Tax Liability clause defines which party is responsible for paying taxes related to the agreement or transaction. Typically, it specifies whether the buyer, seller, or both must handle taxes such as sales tax, value-added tax (VAT), or other applicable levies, and may outline procedures for handling tax documentation or reimbursements. This clause ensures that both parties clearly understand their tax obligations, thereby preventing disputes and unexpected financial burdens related to tax payments.
