Overtime compensation definition

Overtime compensation means the compensation required under this section.
Overtime compensation means the compensation required to be paid for hours worked during periods that the department has classified, by rule promulgated under s. 103.02, as periods to be paid for at the rate of at least 1.5 times an employee’s regular rate of pay.
Overtime compensation means the compensation required by subsection (k).

Overtime compensation means one and one‐half times the hourly compensation rate established for the pay range, and provided further that overtime compensation may be granted in the form of compensatory time off only if the Fire Chief approves an employee request that compensatory time to be granted in lieu of extra monetary compensation for overtime work. The employee must make this election immediately after the pay period in which the overtime was accumulated. In the event an employee elects to take overtime compensation in the form of compensatory time off, no more than one hundred sixty eight (168) hours of compensatory time off may be accumulated by an individual member, who shall have the option to sell back to the employer up to eighty‐four (84) hours two (2) times per year (in the first pay period of April and October), with a maximum cash out upon retirement of one hundred sixty eight (168) hours.
