Object of the insurance. Within the limits and conditions stipulated in the Policy, and by means of payment of the premium and of the deductibles corresponding to each service, the Insurer undertakes to provide the Insured with coverage for the pertinent medi- cal, surgical and hospital care required for all of the illnesses or injuries which are included on the list of healthcare benefits related to the medi- cal specialties indicated in Clause 2 (Coverage Description Clauses), with the Insurer paying the cost thereof by direct payment to the participat- ing professionals or centres providing the service. In any event, the Insurer shall bear the cost of healthcare coverage contracted when this is re- quired in emergency situations and for the dura- tion thereof. The present Healthcare Insurance Policy does not allow for optional cash indemnity in lieu of the covered healthcare benefit.

Object of the insurance. 1. The private law statutory liability of the insured persons under Clause 1.01.2 arising from their attributes, legal relationships and activities in connection with the description of activities under Clause 1.02 is insured on the basis of the General Conditions of Insurance for Liability Insurance (AHB) and the following agreements (cf. however Clauses 3 and 4.06). The statutory liability associated with the activities of diving bases is excluded from the insurance cover.
Object of the insurance. 1. Section 4 I 8 AHB notwithstanding, the private law statutory liability of the insured persons according to Clause 1.1 is insured within the scope and extent of the contract for personal injury and property damage caused by environmental factors as long as such environmental factors do not or did not originate from facilities or operations which are covered by Clause 4.02. Damage caused by fire, explosion and blasting shall be deemed to be damage caused by environmental factors as defined in the abovementioned section. Insurance cover for blasting shall only exist if this has been specifically agreed. Financial losses arising from the breach of appropriation rights, the rights in an established and practised trade and water usage rights and privileges are also insured in accordance with Section 1, 1 AHB. They shall be treated in the same way as property damage.
Object of the insurance. With this Travel Assistance insurance contract, while travelling within the territorial limit covered, the Insured shall be entitled to the various assistance services that comprise the traveller’s protection system.
Object of the insurance. The insurance covers accidents that the Insured Party suffers anywhere in the world during the performance of the activities declared by the Contracting Party, including the travel risk if referred to in the category indicated under Art. 1 of Section 6. Unless otherwise specified, the guarantees referred to in the following articles are always effective. The guarantee also includes: • asphyxia not resulting from disease; • poisoning or intoxication consequent to the ingestion or absorption of toxic substances; • contact with non-corrosive substances; • disease consequent to the bite of an animal or a spider or the sting of an insect; • drowning; • exposure or freezing; • electrocution; • heat stroke or cold shock; • injury caused by muscular effort of a traumatic nature; • accidents deriving from aggression in general; • accidents deriving from civil commotion, terrorism, vandalism, assassination attempts, kidnapping, robbery, hijacking or piracy, providing the Insured Party has not taken an active part; • accidents deriving from illness and the loss of consciousness; • accidents deriving from carelessness, rashness and negligence including grave negligence; • accidents deriving from using and driving motorcycles of any power, tractors and self propelled agricultural machines, motor vehicles and water craft, providing the Insured Party, if he/she is the driver, has a regular driving licence, if prescribed, qualifying him/her to drive the vehicle/craft; • accidents caused by the forces of nature including earthquakes, sea-quakes, volcanic eruptions, floods, inundations, landslides, landslips, avalanches, snow slides; • accidents caused by thermal and atmospheric influences; • accidents deriving from the abuse of alcoholic drinks, excluding those which occur when vehicles and/or water craft in general are being driven; • vertigo; • infections deriving from surgical operations, treatments or medical care rendered necessary because of an accident; • traumatic hernias, abdominal hernias resulting from physical effort and muscular lacerations resulting from physical effort; with regard to abdominal hernias, it is agreed that: • if it is possible to operate on the hernia (also if bilateral), only the indemnity for temporary disability, if contemplated, will be paid for a maximum of 30 days; • if, according to medical opinion, it is not possible to operate on the hernia (also if bilateral), only an indemnity of no more than 10% of the insured sum for permanent inv...
Object of the insurance. The Insurer covers the financial consequences of the Policy holder's civil liability during the Trip under applicable legislation or case law resulting from Bodily injury, Damage to property and the resulting Immaterial damage caused to Third parties by the Policy holder themselves, the persons they are responsible for, the animals or objects in their custody during the Trip, within the limits and the Excess indicated in the "Schedule of benefits". If the Policy holder had taken out civil liability insurance prior to, or in parallel with this contract, the coverage only applies once the coverage of the insurance previously subscribed, or subscribed in parallel, has been exhausted. The coverage is triggered by the Damaging action. For the application of this coverage the terms below are defined as follows: Bodily injury Any physical harm suffered by a person. Damage to property Any alteration, deterioration, loss and/or destruction of an object or a substance, including any physical harm to animals. Immaterial damage: Any damage other than Damage to property and especially any financial prejudice resulting from the loss of the exercise of a right. Immaterial damage is considered consecutive when it is the direct consequence of an insured Damage to property. Damaging action The action that causes the damage. A set of damaging actions that have the same technical cause are considered to be a single damaging action. Third party Any private person or legal entity excluding the Policy holder themselves, their Family members, their ascendants and descendants as well as the persons accompanying the Policy holder and their agents in the exercise of their functions, whether in the employ of the Policy holder or not. Civil liability claim A claim is composed of any damage or collection of damage caused to Third parties, for which the Policy holder is liable, resulting from a Damaging action and leading to one or more amiable or legal claims initiated by the third party having suffered the damage.
Object of the insurance. The guarantee provides for the reimbursement or direct payment - within the limits (sublimits included) and with the deduction of the deductible specified in the Table of Insured Capital - of medical expenses resulting from injury or illness sustained by the Insured during the trip - in addition to the services provided by the National Health Service: - are prescribed by authorized medical authorities - are ascertained and documented - are necessary during the trip - are indispensable and cannot be postponed until the return to the place of residence. WARNING: Medical expenses or relative to assistance services, if incurred in hospital or healthcare facilities, are understood to be paid directly by the Company where this is possible and without prejudice to the prior contact of the Insured with the Operative Centre; or, for subsequent reimbursement where direct payment or for all expenses incurred outside the aforementioned facilities has not been possible, without prejudice to the sublimits indicated in the Table of Insured Capital. Direct payment is subject to the provisions of Italian and local legislation on exchange control.
