Meal Breaks and Meal Allowance. (a) When an Employee is required to work two (2) or more hours overtime immediately after their regular shift, or is required to work three (3) or more hours overtime prior to their regular shift, they shall be given a paid one-half (1/2) hour meal period at the rate of time and one-half of their straight time hourly rate of pay.

Meal Breaks and Meal Allowance. 10.2.1 A paid meal break of ½ hour shall be paid after the first five hours of work and after 9 hours of work in any one day. For the second meal break to be paid the employee must continue work after the taking of the meal break. All meal breaks must be recorded on the employees run sheets. A meal allowance will be paid as per the Award conditions.
