Educational Allowance. Where the Hospital considers that additional educational preparation is required for a job, then such preparation shall be paid for according to the following scale: Special courses and/or Nursing Unit $ 15.00 per month Administration 1 Year University Diploma $ 40.00 per month Bachelor of Science Degree (Nursing) $ 80.00 per month Master's Degree (Nursing) $120.00 per month In the calculation of a nurse's basic rate of pay, the above additional allowance shall not be taken into consideration.
Educational Allowance. The Employer shall pay the tuition cost of any course of instruction required or approved by the Employer for an employee to better qualify himself/herself to perform his/her job. Payment shall be made on successful completion of the course.
Educational Allowance. The Employer will pay the monthly educational allowances set forth hereunder to all nurses who are covered by this Agreement and who have completed their probationary period subject to the following conditions:
Educational Allowance. Residents are allocated $700 per year to attend medical meetings, purchase books, or purchase educational software. The program director must approve all uses of this allowance in advance. All travel arrangements must be made through the residency office.
Educational Allowance. Salary recognition of eighty dollars ($80.00) per month for additional preparation will be paid to a Registered Nurse who holds a Baccalaureate Degree (in Nursing).

Educational Allowance. Salary recognition for additional preparation, the skills of which are utilized in the classification of employment of the nurse, will be provided as follows: Special Course or N.U.A. $15.00 monthly.

Educational Allowance. 20.01 The Corporation agrees to pay up to a maximum of one thousand, two hundred dollars ($1,200) per year, including tuition and required text, toward the cost of any academic or technical course of study approved by the Corporation. Application for approval shall be made by the employee as required by the Corporation which shall have the exclusive right to determine whether or not such course is appropriate for the employee involved. A response from the Corporation to the employee shall be within two (2) weeks of the date of application. If the course is not deemed appropriate, the reason shall be given in writing to the employee. The Corporation shall also determine from time-to-time the conditions under which such payment shall be made and shall advise the Association immediately of any change of policy.
