Holidays Falling on Saturday or Sunday Sample Clauses

The "Holidays Falling on Saturday or Sunday" clause defines how holidays that occur on weekends are treated for contractual or operational purposes. Typically, if a holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the observance of that holiday is shifted to the nearest weekday, such as the preceding Friday or following Monday. This ensures that deadlines, obligations, or business operations that would otherwise be affected by a weekend holiday are adjusted accordingly. The core function of this clause is to provide clarity and consistency in scheduling and to prevent confusion or disputes about deadlines and observances when holidays do not fall on regular business days.
