Saturday Holiday. When any holiday from 1 through 12 above falls on a Saturday, it shall be observed on the preceding Friday.

Saturday Holiday. When a holiday listed herein falls on a Saturday, the preceding Friday will be observed as a Holiday. All City administrative offices and departments will be closed except fire suppression and lifeguard services.

Saturday Holiday. In the event any of the specified holidays occur on Saturday, all employees covered by this Agreement who fulfill the qualifications for receiving holiday pay in the week immediate- ly preceding such holiday Saturday, shall receive such holiday with pay at the straight time rate of pay. Where a holiday occurs on Saturday, it shall be celebrated on Friday if so deemed by Proclamation (Md.) or Executive Order (D.C.). Sunday Holiday – A holiday which falls on Sunday shall be cele- brated on Monday.

Saturday Holiday. When the preceding Friday lands on an employee’s regularly scheduled day off per the Alternate 9/80 work schedule, then the employee will receive nine (9) hours of holiday pay for that day.

  • Saturday Sunday and designated paid holidays shall not be counted in determining the time within which any action is to be taken or completed under the grievance procedure.

  • Sunday Employees at the Maine State Prison shall be eligible for a weekend differential of fifty cents ($.50) per hour to the base for shifts beginning between 8:30 p.m. Friday and 8:29 p.m. Sunday.

  • Legal Holiday If the date on which any payment is due shall not be a Business Day, then (notwithstanding any other provision of the Notes or this Indenture) payment need not be made on such date but may be made on the next succeeding Business Day with the same force and effect as if made on the date on which nominally due, and no interest shall accrue for the period from and after any such nominal date.

  • Saturday and Sunday Work Week: Five (5) consecutive days per week, Sunday to Saturday. Work Day: Seven and one-half (7 1/2) hours to be scheduled within the hours of operation.

When a holiday falls on a Sunday and it is not proclaimed as being observed on another day, the following Monday (or Tuesday, where the preceding section already applies), will be deemed to be the holiday for the purpose of this agreement.
