An employee is required to inform his/her immediate supervisor of any health and safety concerns affecting working conditions and shall promptly report any work related injury on the Employer provided form(s) in accordance with AAESA policy. Supervisors shall promptly investigate and report back to the employee of any actions taken.

HEALTH AND SAFETY CONDITIONS. 10.7.1 The Board shall take all prudent steps to ensure that a healthful and safe working environment is provided in all buildings. To this end, the Board shall authorize regular and thorough inspections of water, heating, plumbing, and electrical systems.
HEALTH AND SAFETY CONDITIONS. A. The Board agrees to maintain health and safety conditions at each school site in compliance with applicable statutes and/or regulations. A teacher may file an “Unsatisfactory Condition” report for the following conditions: (1) situations which may cause or contribute to accidents, incidents, or present a hazard to personnel and/or (2) chronic maintenance problems which have not been resolved.

HEALTH AND SAFETY CONDITIONS. If a grievance alleges a violation, misapplication, or misinterpretation of a specific provision of this Agreement and involves a condition which imperils the health or safety of a member of the unit, such grievance may be directly submitted to Level Two of the grievance procedure. Within five (5) days after receipt of the grievance, a meeting of the Superintendent and the grievant shall be arranged. Within five (5) days after this meeting, the Superintendent shall send his/her reply in writing to the grievant with a copy to the Association. The parties agree that the sole purpose of this section is to expedite the processing of only those grievances as defined herein, and that this section in no way alters the obligation of the parties to comply with all other provisions of this Agreement.
