HEALTH AND SAFETY CONDITIONS. 19.1 A joint CVUHSD/CVSTA committee shall be established to develop school site procedures that will address safety and working conditions on each campus to ensure all district facilities are in “good repair” as defined in Education Code Section 17002(d)(1). These procedures will be completed/reviewed by December 1st of each school year. That report should be sent to both the Superintendent and the CVSTA office for distribution. The report shall include an investigation of the following conditions at each campus: Gas Leaks HVAC Mechanical Systems Windows/Doors/Gates/Fences Interior Surfaces Hazardous Materials Structural Damages Fire Safety Electrical Pest/Vermin Infestation Drinking Fountains Sewer System Roofs Playgrounds/School Grounds Security Violence Health issues Indoor air pollution Derelict conditions of campus Disaster preparedness Mold inspections Working, sanitary and accessible restrooms
